What can you say about a cemetery? I think the grounds are kept up enough. The office hands out flowers and cookies a couple days a year. I did submit a request to have a headstone leveled, we have not followed up and its been a year. Its not critical so I'll ask again in a couple weeks and see what happens. They hold a few nice services in the mausoleum area, in remembrance of our dearest departed. I would recommend them.

I paid $772.06 in October 2014 for a name scroll for my deceased mother. I was told by Sharon that it would take approximately 4 weeks for the order to be completed. The scroll was not placed on the grave in December 2014. I spoke to Sharon and she told me that she forgot to do the rubbing of the current plate which needed to be done before the order was placed. She pleasantly apologized, as she is always pleasant, and promised to get it done as soon as possible. The scroll was not placed on my mother’s grave in February 2015. I called and asked to speak to the manager. A lady named Stephanie told me that she was the manager and I proceeded to explain the situation. She told me that she checked and verified that the name scroll was in their possession and would be placed on the grave as soon as the weather permitted, in approximately two weeks. The scroll was STILL not on the grave in April 2015. I was prevented from speaking to the manager when I called and was routed to Sharon. I told her that I was going to report their business if the name scroll was not placed on the grave by mother’s day in two weeks. I have since received a call from Sharon telling me that they need to reorder the name scroll. After dealing with the death of my mother due to an unexpected illness, this is the absolute last thing I needed to keep dealing with. I reported this to Dignity memorial, but I have not heard from them. This is the worst situation a family should need to go through after the death of a loved one. Save yourself the additional heartache and AVOID THIS CEMETERY and possibly Dignity Memorial.

Very accessible hours and days! Never had any problems here, my mother's family has been buried here for generations!

After losing my father over the weekend, my family and I met with Karmalita who is an employee of Dignity (Evergreen Cemetery) located 3401 W 87th St, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. She was inarticulate, ignorant, rude, offensive, and treated us in a manner antithetical to the name (Dignity).
When we asked to speak to her manager several times because she clearly lacked the skills to assist us during a painful time of sorrow in which we were attempting to make final arrangements for my father, she refused to reach out to him and emphasized she was in charge. If this is true, I feel sorry for Dignity Corporation because it will certainly not be in business very long with representatives treating potential customers in the manner in which we were treated.
After we left the private conference room on the grounds of the Evergreen Cemetery and were on our way out the building, all of s sudden, Karmalita advised us that she would reach out to her manager.
Needless to say, we took our business to a reputable cemetery where we received more value for our money and were treated with Dignity.
My advice to any grieving family is to avoid Karmalita and Evergreen Cemetery.
