We tried 2 of the rooms. Escape the High Castle was pretty hard, and we didn't make it. Bedlam was a lot of fun and had a spooky vibe. We were able to finish that one with 2 minutes to spare. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He let us do the the rooms with just 3 of us when 4 are recommended. A lot of fun for sure
Excellent staff. Very helpful and add to the positive and fun vibe of the escape rooms themselves. We did the psychiatric hospital escape and really enjoyed it; challenging, a bit spooky and definitely a blast. The prices are fair for about an hour of immersive activity! Would highly recommend!
We’ve been here twice now and have really enjoyed it. We’ve done several other escape rooms and this place is one of my favorites. We enjoy the multi-room concept here instead of being locked in one room with a dozen of puzzles to solve. It’s much more fun and exciting to move through different rooms as you are solving the puzzles. We also really enjoyed the technological features in each room. The owner is also really nice and we had great service. We will definitely be coming back again to finish the last room. Check it out if you haven’t already!
We recently tried Esxoss Manway for the first time, and did the Bedlam theme. It was a multi-room escape experience which are always fun and was very well done! The escape experience had a very interesting storyline, and all the puzzles were directly related to the theme. Well constructed obstacles to overcome, and a cool use of technology to compliment the experience. The owner was our game host, and was clearly very enthusiastic about the escape genre and proud of the rooms he had to offer. We look forward to returning and doing the other two themes! For those passionate about escape rooms, definitely worth checking out!
Went and did Escape the High Castle on New Years eve and had a great time. The location is a bit tricky to find - a sharp turn off Macleod and a banner up on the second floor of an office building. But I felt navigating the hallways of the building actually added to the charm of the escape room. I'm a beginner to escape rooms, having only been to one other prior to this. The room was very enjoyable. Accomplishing the puzzles was quite rewarding, with one puzzle in particular being extremely rewarding no spoilers!. I'm definitely going to return to do the other two rooms available as it was such a great time. Also it's very close to Chinook so if you're out-of-towners coming in shopping with family it's a convenient place to hit up for some fun.
Great place!! Cool puzzles and room ideas. I have done a lot of escape rooms before across Canada and into the USA. This one stuck out to me as it was pretty technologically savvy and it had unique problems. Would go again!! I also love supporting small businesses, especially in this pandemic. The owner is a sweetheart and he deserves to keep his business up.
I booked the 'Bedlam' escape room for my birthday, and was very excited since the website is flashy and boasts about being high tech with AI which sounded really cool! Extreme disappointment from the get go. We showed up on time for our room and it was closed, we called the number and someone told us they were on their way. About 15 minutes later we finally got into the space which is in an older, run down office building and the rooms were really dirty and in need of a vacuum. Once we got into our room we got instructions on how things work, and what not to touch. It was a series of 5 rooms that were sparsely decorated and pitch black, with only 3 flashlights provided, the remaining 3 people were left with not much to do in the dark. The puzzles were decent and when we got to the most interesting room with a push button sequence, the buttons didn't work properly, and we were told by the attendant to skip that room completely. The final room was really confusing because we couldn't hear the video that was playing and missed important instructions. We ended up beating the room in about 40 minutes and felt really unsatisfied and let down by the whole experience, we thought with the broken room and late start maybe they could have offered us a try in another room or a discount or something. It was just as expensive as some of the other rooms we have done Trapped, The Locked Room, Confined and nowhere near as fun or engaging. My advice would be to focus on improving the quality of one room rather than relying on the gimmick of multiple rooms that have no real discernible story line or points of interest. Maybe one of the other two rooms is better, but avoid Bedlam, especially until they fix the sequence button room. Needless to say, we wont be returning.
My friends and I tried out Bedlam today and had a great time!! These place has a really cool atmosphere and put a lot of work into their rooms. I loved the use of different devices to solve puzzles, very unique compared to others and really fun to see so many different features. Also loved how our experience was split up between five rooms all with different puzzles and designs inside! We were all creeped out. Y the decor and puzzles, loved every minute of it! The staff was very friendly and helpful, a joy to be around. We will definitely be back!!
This place is awesome!!!! One of my best escape room experiences so far. I really liked that it offers several connected rooms in each theme, so you are actually escaping from one room to another. Some other places I've been to had me and my friends trapped in one room playing some dumb IQ test like puzzles to get one key then that's it. With interconnected rooms, Esxoss also has a background story for each room which made me feel way more engaged in finding the clues. Triggers and locks are well designed with many that are not manual locks. That guaranteed more different types of clues and more intriguing experience. Definitely recommend to Escape room goers!!!! Ps. the owner was very nice that he let us finish the game with no interruption when we went over the time limit.
The first part of the experience is actually finding the escape room establishment. Note: you don't have to climb the ladder to a latch in the ceiling! Great fun for everyone. The escape room we did was the Insane Asylum, I would say it's an intermediate escape room, a lot of cool technical elements built in. The owner is a really pleasant guy who has built a great escape room experience. Would definitely recommend!
