Jan 4 at 2130hr, I drove over to refill my car, the machine couldn't read any of my card and suggested to approach cashier for assistance. When I approached to cashier, the one on duty told me no transaction could be done over there, asked me to try again by swipping the card quicker. And I went out again in the freezing outdoor and keep trying. In a minute he came out to helped another girl refilling her car. I talked to him again, he seemed impatient then went back the store and made me follwed into. Only then he asked me to pay over the counter and said "no worry". What makes the transaction so complicated?

I regularly get a touchless car wash here but the last time I visited my car came out caked in soap. I couldn't really see at the time but when I got home I saw it. Fortunately I was able to hand wash it all off, but the wash was a waste of money.
