Essex Mini Storage

I had shed at Essex Mini for 9 months after my layoff and subsequent loss of my home and I moved into my car until this May. I got behind on payments due to homelessness and the dsitractions of my son being hospitalized 5 hrs away and my car costing 4 grand in repairs. many areas of my life and bills had to be put on hold. i learned that my possessions were being put up for auction and despite my pleas to give me 1 more week i was told nothing will change as of this past Monday July 11th. It was not my intention to get behind but but to take 46yrs of personal items I obtained,and my kids photo albums and let someone toss them away is an injustice. I should of at least been able to retrieve those items which is customary with auctions. Im very upset with the lack of compassion.

I've rented a few storage units over the years, and I must say that this was the best self storage experience EVER. I vacated my unit after hours mid-month and kept forgetting to call them during business hours to inform them that I had left. I never did get around to contacting them, and yet, a week later, I was shocked to receive a refund check for not only my security deposit, but also for the pro-rated portion of my final month. Unbelievably awesome company to do business with, can't say it enough.
