Very quaint lovely place! It's local, the dishes are freshly homemade right in front of you, and the quality is excellent. We found the food to be a little bland for my taste, but some people in our party had food restrictions and they gave some good recommendations and offered to make some dishes with respect to those restrictions. The music is calm and soothing, the restaurant is very clean, and the staff are friendly. Overall great experience :
This is the first time I have visited Enzo's Rustico Romano restaurant which is located at 2492 East Hasting st Vancouver BC. I ordered the pamodoro fresco con prawn wow the portion is amazing and so is the pasta it's perfectly cooked and especially the combination of the sauce is very delicious to eat with the prawn alone. I think the pamodoro fresco con prawn pasta is one of my favorites. Next time if I come back I will try other menus.The cook is very good and friendly as well as the restaurant owners, the service is very satisfying. For sure I will come back again . here I suggest please try the pamodoro fresco con prawn. I
I ordered a chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it sure was dry, not fun to eat, especially after asking for extra sauce. Also, the Caesar salad was ridiculous for what I paid. $9 for a Caesar salad and I got this?? So tiny, and nothing but some lettuce and a few croutons with some low end dressing. Could have made that myself for a dollar. Won't be ordering again.
The pasta is amazing! It feels homemade and prepared with love. The gelato is also great, you won’t be disappointed! I recommend Straciatella & Chocolate Moreover, the place is cozy and has personality. Bonus points: It has a patio and live music on weekends. P.S. This place is a hidden gem and deserves more love! I’ll definitely be back to try other items from the menu.
Hidden gem: Best pistacchio gelato in Vancouver. Amazingly unexpected real Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The pasta amatriciana was just perfectly made and served with hand grated parmigiano cheese on top. Highly recommend experience. If you want the full experience you must dine in and have a conversation with Enzo: he's very funny ! BTW: if you order with Uber or Skip and you complain, it means you don't understand how Italian food works.
My Superstore meatballs were cold and the spaghetti was flavorless and watery. The owner, who sounded like Uncle Nino from Jersey Shore brought me a dirty knife to use.
Ordered on Skip. Cost high, food quality terrible. I’m of Italian descent and this place is a disgrace to the Italian cuisine. Order came in a Donald’s Market bag. Food was cold. Tiny portions. Ordered gnocchi in a meat sauce and chicken parmigiana. Tiny portion of gnocchi, sauce not even a meat sauce, not even remotely good. Chicken parmigiana. Also tiny portion. Chicken tasted rubbery and undercooked. Veggies looked gross and old. I also ordered an apple pie. It was no joke, rotten. Threw the entire order in the trash. Do not recommend. Absolutely terrible.
i honestly love it here. the food is decently priced for the portions. the vibes are cute and cozy. they're always willing to reccomend things and excited when you try new stuff. the pasta is yummy as heck and the sandos are solid. the shaved espresso ice dessert is my fave
We went here a little while ago, I had the penne arrabbiatta and it was excellent. The service was great, the prices are good, it was not too busy, and it was a really relaxing and charming dinner. Check this place out!
I loved this little shop and the service we received! Food was great, had that little zing I was looking for! Atmosphere was an absolute delight the people were also soo sweet My only complaint would be with serving of the cutlery/napkins ect.. my napkin was dirty and by that point in the day and after how much travel? I just didn't care and turned it around lmao The rim of my cup also looked kind of dirty on one side, and again I was already done with the day so I drank from the can Maybe just start double checking your basics! Other than that everything else was amazing and despite that? I would still return cause dang that's some good food
