If you have to extend a rental or make a payment outside of your first time visiting, this location has no debit machine to process payments. I now have to drive over an hour and miss important classes just to pay a balance on the car that shouldn't have even been an issue in the first place. Reposted from the location in which I rented the vehicle: I have rented a car three times with Enterprise, the first two times I had no issues and was really happy with the service. Now, during the third time, their mistake has made the entire experience horrible. I received a call during my rental period from Josh inquiring when I intended to return the vehicle, which confused me since I clearly stated I wanted to extend the rental until the end of the month two weeks prior. I'm not sure why they charged me until the twentieth, but alright, I just needed to pay the remainder. I didn't have a problem until my card declined, which turned out to be an issue with their terminal when I contacted the bank. I was nowhere close to the limit on the card and confirmed with the bank that the card had no issues. Unfortunately, the Enterprise where I am didn't have a working debit machine, so I couldn't make the payment and they can't accept payment information over the phone. I only have one option now which is to drive over an hour to another location Monday morning to make this payment before the vehicle is flagged as stolen and possibly impounded. Instead of being convenient, now I have to miss important activities I have during the day to avoid legal trouble because they waited so long to inform me of the issue, despite the fact I expressly told them I wanted the car until the end of the month. It's added an incredible level of stress for something that should have been a convivence. If the card declined, I shouldn't have been able to extend the vehicle to the date I asked for. It's bizarre how late I was informed of this issue and how little options I have to rectify it despite being fully willing to pay what I owe. Enterprise isn't a bad company and does have excellent service, but this experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I would recommend avoiding extending a rental and plan for the entire period when you first book.
We have had occasion to rent a car for a few days 3 times in the last month. We are extremely happy with the professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness of the staff at Enterprise Owen Sound. Kudos to all of you for making an unfortunately-necessary situation go so smoothly! Thank you!!
Guelph, ON gave me a very dirty Taos, that was just returned by another customer, sprayed it with an entire bottle of Fabreeze and then kept trying to sell me more insurance then what I needed assuming that I couldn't understand his accent and might just sign for it. We had the car for 1 month insurance paid and when we returned it to them in the same dirty condition, they wanted to charge us $250 for detailing. I would never, never use this company myself privately. I was forced to use them by my insurance company.
Enterprise has my repeat business because their staff are so professional and they have decent cars some of which are pictured below at affordable rates. I showed up early for a rental and they went out of their way to make sure I was in the vehicle within minutes! They're willing and always ready to accommodate any need you might have. Great rates, unlimited mileage in ON and like the commercial says, they'll pick you up or drop you off! Graham the Manager, I think, Tisha and Bruce always go the extra mile!
Staff was courteous and helpful, maintaining good communications with us and our insurance company. Were able to get the vehicle we requested in a reasonable time frame. Vehicles are clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this business!
For their convenience they tried to prohibit me from dropping the car off at a different branch. Which isn’t based on anything so I still did so.

Had a wonderful rental experience at this location. Curtis was so helpful and professional. He made sure to provide me vehicle I was most comfortable driving with despite of all the shortage due to covid. 10/10 for everything. Must visit location for your rental needs!! - Enterprise Owensound :
Enterprise is very famous for the fine print charges and hoping that you will not circle back to follow up on them. Next is the blame game, between the call center and the local branch. My advice is to not use Enterprise unless you need to. They will always figure out a way to take advantage of the consumer and sit back and tell you "Sorry about your luck". Was able to find other options locally for half price Thifty/Hertz
Can't say enough good things about the customer service at Enterprise in my region. I rented a vehicle for 2 weeks which I picked up in Barrie see Adam, exchanged for a different vehicle type in Collingwood see Graham and returned in Owen Sound see Curtis. I have named these individuals as each one was beyond helpful and professional and easy to deal with. Outstanding job of customer service by all 3 gentlemen. Yes you can rent a car during covid they are taking every precaution as per the Ontario government guidelines and you should choose Enterprise.
