"En visitant notre parenté en Italie et alors que nous dégustions une authentique pizza four à bois sur la côte sud-ouest, nous avons été inspirés. Après plusieurs discussions, nous avons pris la décision finale : il faut qu’elle soit cuisinée chez nous. Et Enoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna était née. Comme nous avons grandi avec notre Nonna grand-mère en italien et les merveilleux plats qu’elle cuisinait, nous ne pouvions nous limiter aux pizzas. Nous lui avons demandé toutes ses recettes, l’avons suppliée de nous aider à les améliorer et avons créé notre menu – plein de classiques italiens et de plusieurs favoris contemporains. Nous avons bâti notre premier restaurant en gardant à l’esprit les principes de Nonna : simple et authentique."

It started out to really slow but the service picked up. The restaurant was huge and packed but didn't feeling overwhelming. I started out with the drink Rossini which was unique and tasty, then moved to shrimp popcorn as the appetizers, it was quite fresh and paired well with the sauce but the quantity was very little as compared to the price that I paid. The main Linguini Gamberi, was really good. The quantity was on point, the taste was unique, not overpowering but flavourful. The past had everything and was worth the money. My friend got the Salmon dish as a main which was quite fresh and taste as well. The Tiramisu; however, was a disappointment. It didn't feel authentic at all and was quite sweet.
Great service, great food, great drinks. Food came quickly and servers were ready to help us. Pretty pricey, but we had leftovers for the next day since we both couldn't finish out main meal. They gave us takeout boxes when we asked.Food: 5/5
I feel like the food would have been so much better if it wasn't delivered. Since it arrived lukewarm, the pizza dough was a bit too chewy. Nonetheless, the flavours for the pizza were good and the ingredients were fresh. The sauce was not overpowering the cheese nor the mushrooms and it combined the flavours of the both very well. Sadly, the exterior of the crust was slightly charred and that ruined the flavours a bit. The pasta on the other hand was a bit lacking in flavours in comparison to the pizza. I did really enjoy however the sudden burst of flavours from time to time provided by the tomatoes. The pasta itself was decent but nothing extraordinary and the bread that came with it was crunchy on the outside but still soft on the inside. The part that bothers me the most is that they packed the tiramisu in the same bag as the pasta, so it arrived warm and it did not look as amazing as it should be. The flavours and the texture were still pretty good.
Went last Friday with friends , no reservations arrived around 8pm . The staff made a big effort to give us a table outside . Good service , fast and efficient. Delicious food ! Basically all we needed to end a good Friday night Thank you .
Two friends and I recently had lunch on St. Patrick’s Day no less at Monza Enoteca Pizzeria Moderna on St. John’s Road North in DDO Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec. The restaurant was very quiet when I arrived and I was seated at a large booth, pending the arrival of my two companions. One of them arrived and seated himself in the front of the restaurant. The waitress was savvy enough to check that he was part of my luncheon party and offered to relocate me to his table. That showed me that our waitress had a proactive approach to customer service. When our third colleague arrived, they ordered the chicken special and another salad special from the menu. I ordered the pizza carnivora which was a thin-crust pizza with crumbled sausage, pepperoni, pancetta and mozzarella. It was a very tasty pizza. Even with a non-alcoholic beer, the total for my lunch was under $ 35.00, which these days for lunch is a bargain. This is the second time I’ve been to this restaurant and both the service and food have been outstanding. I would recommend trying it if you’re in the neighbourhood. Parking: There is lots of parking as this restaurant is in a strip mall in DDO
Was here for a suprise party, and this place did not dissapoint. Even though we were a big group we were not reateicted to a fixes menu. Our waiter Andrew and his support staff were quick and and on point. They did an amazing job with timely drink orders, aptz then the meal was all seamless. No mistakes were made. Had a great time with friwnds and some great pizzas!
We wanted to eat something delicious but fast and easy. So glad we chose Monza tonight. Delicious thin crispy crust pizza. Nice generous toppings. The sauce on pizza is delicious. We had one pizza each. Perfectly filling. The margherita was delicious as was the pepperoni. They were tough choices because everything on the menu looked so good. We popped in for a quick meal and were out in about thirty minutes. This ease makes me want to come back. Great service from a very competent Macy. Im so grateful for good service. Energy, nice attitude, and capable of running the whole store. Hold onto this employee! Good location. On St Jean Blvd near Salaberry. Lots of easy parking. Wheelchair access.
Our dinner last evening was fabulous in terms of food, drink, and excellent A+ service however we almost left when we were first seated due to the very loud hockey tournament group who were making unnecessary noise with screams as they were playing tag around the table. We understand "business is business" but I think it may be a strategy that the Monza management may want to review. Many tables around us were frustrated and told us it happened repetitively so much a number of clients left upset to never return. Just being honest as this has been a favourite resto for my hubby and I when we dine locally. We have a great respect for the owners and managers in this well run establishment. Please keep us loyal customers in mind. Aside from that we enjoyed the service and awesome food!
Best Italian meals I've had outside of Italy. The pizzas were great, the pasta was amazing and the cocktails were just special. Our host was very attentive and charming. Thanks for having me and my friends.Food: 5/5
Excellent food and portions, the service was also great. Will definitely come back for awesome pastas
