"En visitant notre parenté en Italie et alors que nous dégustions une authentique pizza four à bois sur la côte sud-ouest, nous avons été inspirés. Après plusieurs discussions, nous avons pris la décision finale : il faut qu’elle soit cuisinée chez nous. Et Enoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna était née. Comme nous avons grandi avec notre Nonna grand-mère en italien et les merveilleux plats qu’elle cuisinait, nous ne pouvions nous limiter aux pizzas. Nous lui avons demandé toutes ses recettes, l’avons suppliée de nous aider à les améliorer et avons créé notre menu – plein de classiques italiens et de plusieurs favoris contemporains. Nous avons bâti notre premier restaurant en gardant à l’esprit les principes de Nonna : simple et authentique."

Although the prices are a bit more on the expensive side, the portions are fairly generous so it does compensate a bit. The food itself was great. I had the veal shank, which was 40$, which had great flavours. I really enjoyed the sauce they served with the meat. The meat was also tender and just the right amount of fat. My favourite part was definitely the bone marrow included in the pieces. Those few bites were so flavourful and delicious. However, some cuts were a bit dry on the inside. The fries and vegetables that came with it was a bit too basic, which was a big contrast from the meat. The service was alright, nothing special. It felt that our waiters were trying to rush through everything, which was understandable because the restaurants was completely filled with customers. The music was a bit too loud to my likings, which ruins the atmosphere a bit but the interior decor and the cleanliness was enjoyable. Especially the big counter behind where they work makes the restaurant look very fancy. Also the enormous oven showing us the pizza getting cooked, that just gets our appetite going.
Service: 4/5 our waitress was very nice FOOD: Calamary plate was alright, not the best. Wouldn’t re-order Pasta, which was okay but chicken tasted flavourless and unfrozen chicken. Gave me a stomach ache straight after eating this. Music was way too loud, couldn’t even hear each other across the table Overall, would not come back. Do not recommend.
Great Italian restaurant spot in Centropolis! If you have craving for pasta, thin crust pizzas or just want to have a drink with family, friends and/or colleagues, this is the place!!!! You will have quality, fair price and great service. Make sure to call to make a reservation as most of the time it is very crowded.
A real disappointment. The pasta bolognaise was actually too sweet, other plates had too much basil in it. The fettuccine was flavorless. The cheese pizza was the best thing we ordered had 6 different plates but even that tasted like cheap cheese sprinkled on top and ok dough. The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was because the staff was super friendly, but I wouldn't be going back again due to the taste, quality and price . Parking: Lots of free parking near by
Ordered fried calamari and shrimp and even though they are frozen, they shouldn’t be that bland in taste! The pizzas took over an hour from when we ordered them to when they arrived. A pizza shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to put together and a couple of minutes in a hot pizza oven! Even if you’re busy, the least you can do it prioritize the kid’s order so he’s not waiting for an hour to eat.. in summary, average food and below average service.. it’s also sad to waiters and staff better dressed than the restaurant manager who looked lost and confused most of the time just like the staff that repeatedly brought us food ordered by another table.. I left a $10 tip which I know is under the normal 15% but what they should understand is tipping is for exceptional service not for receiving your food an hour later! The waiter came back to the table and said he noticed I didn’t tip a lot which reflects I wasn’t happy with the service and I said off course I’m not but I don’t blame him, I blame the management for understaffing and underpaying them
We had a salad and pizza for supper. The pizza was served at the same time as the salad. We asked the manager to take the pizza away for a few minutes so it would not get cold, which he graciously did. I little action goes a long way. Exceptional service and always great food.
Pasta was very good! The tortellini plate was rather small, not a huge portion for 21$ but pasta tends to be pricy at restaurants! Great ambiance and very friendly staff.! To check out:
The place was overall average. The waiters were awesome, they provided such a good service. Unfortunately, the food was not at the same level as the service. 20$ for a few pieces of calamari that were chewy and tasteless even the sauce was bad. The pasta was okay pretty hard to mess up pasta to be honest. Pizza was allright.
Monza was amazing to accommodate and get us 3 tables for our party of 27 on a busy Saturday night. Much appreciated. The service was great & everyone enjoyed their wide variety of choices. I didn’t hear 1 complaint. I also enjoyed watching the Habs play on large TVs as we ate.Recommended dishesParmesan Fries, Gnocchi Gorgonzola
So I wasn't crazy about how bright the light was right above our head. The food was not special at all! I had the seafood pasta My friend had the margarita pizza It was all overpriced. I had to keep saying excuse me because I'm assuming she didn't want to speak English but her English was great... Anyway I'll never go back even for a bday sorry
