Pebbles was recovering from an urinary tract infection and seemed to have it reoccurring.  We were from out of town and they made an appointment available.  Turns out she is ok and learned something about her anatomy.  Dr. Silver took the time to explain it and gave us some print outs explaining her problem.  The rest of the staff was very friendly and caring.  I would absolutely recommend this vet!

We went here because my usual vet was going to be quite a wait.  The price is pretty close to others i know, maybe a little more. In my opinion every vet is usually too costly for anyone on a really tight budget.  We expected to have options about which vaccines we wanted we don't need kennel cough but they did them all.  Our pup was having some allergy issues and the service for this wasn't very good.  No matter what we said we were made to feel stupid and dismissed.  I don't mind being kindly told I'm wrong.  But no need to make anyone feel bad.  Without an appointment I called my regular vet and got more help, support and satisfaction from a quick free phone call than we did for a paid visit here.  I wouldn't choose this vet again unless I had to.  Customer service was definitely lacking.  The ladies were very friendly and nice but aren't responsible for everything.

Thank you so much to Dr. Rodriguez and his staff.  My 2-year-old redbone coonhound, Oscar had a seizure a few months ago and the Englehart animal hospital told me to come in right away that same day. Dr. Rodriguez saw him and has been following him ever since. He was so pleasant and helpful and explained everything in detail. Oscar is on the proper medication and doing well. The staff was always so nice and welcoming. Dr. Rodriguez was so good to Oscar petting him and talking to him and reassuring him. It’s beautiful to watch how much he loves the animals. Thank you so much for everything.  I would recommend the Englehart animal hospital to everyone. You guys are wonderful!

We experienced and issue on the weekend, and Dr Rodriguez was wonderful and assisted in helping us sort out the issue, after which we made an appointment to see him, and he was very thorough and understanding. You can definitely tell he loves animals. We are very pleased with the care we received, and would recommend them to anybody.

The doctor did not care about the well being of my animals and only wanted money. made me bawl my eyes out for bringing my pup in to get her ears cleaned and saying it’s my fault her ears were like this, due to allergies and he kept telling me he would have to run a bunch of tests which I did not want because I knew they were allergies! and he would not tell me when in fact was wrong just gave me a bottle of meds like he doesn’t think I know what it is. He needs to retire already and we have already found a new great vet up here that cares about all our animals. Her ears are cleared up and yes she does let me touch her ears all the time so that vet has no clue what he’s doing half the time…

The team was so accommodating and got us in quickly. Dr.Rodriguez was so thorough in his examination of Mocha my cat. I was impressed, and am happy to say I have found where I will take my furry friend from this point on. Thank you all

The only place I trust with my dogs! My one dachshund in particular has proven to be accident prone and the team has quite literally saved his life on many occasions. From a dog attack, disc problems, stomach bugs…they’ve provided excellent service to all. Dr. Silver has even taken off call inquiries for free. Today my boy had his first teeth cleaning and I am blown away by the results! Excellent, competent professionals and IMO, prices are reasonable. Only other place I’d trust in the area is Temiskaming Vet Services but they are an extra 30 mins away :

Saved our boy after getting hit by a car. Called 7 other vets between Englehart and North Bay, all said no. They took excellent care of our 4 month old pup. Our family is very grateful.

DR Cesar Rodriguez is very compassonet and he is highly recommended to care for your pets.  He was very adept at explaining to me everything that happed and how to care for them going forward.  Will be asking for him in future.

They refused to answer their emergency line at 5am then at 6 answered and said they do not do emergency calls after 6am. My Cat was screaming in pain till 8am when I could get him to a vet. Where he had to be put down. Heartless but on a rotation of local.on call vets.better hope your animal is sick well they are open.
