We stock a large selection of men and women's vintage, modern clothing and accessories, all at great prices!

Have great stuff to sell or trade? We offer either 40% in store credit or 20% in cash (of our instore retail price) of what we accept.

Store credits are valid on vintage items, socks and sunglasses at both Empire Exchange stores (51 Bernard Ouest & 5225 Boul. St-Laurent) as well as our sister stores Annex Vintage and Local 23.

I consign regularly and often at other places and have for many years. I decided to try this place after walking by it in Outremont. I came in with twenty-five items I felt good about - Free People, Freebird by Steven, other nice quality brands. Someone took my stuff and it was taken into the back room, which is separated from the store by a pane of glass. I shopped around while they sorted through my things. As I walked around, I kept noticing the two men evaluating my things picking things out of the basket of my stuff and laughing. They were handing things back and forth, rolling their eyes and laughing. It's not my first time having my things picked through by he owner of a consignment shop and it doesn't usually bother me at all, but I was really hurt. I told my boyfriend that I was sorry I had come and wanted to go in and ask for my stuff back but was embarrassed. They gave me my things back - some of them brand new with the tags still in them - saying they were "too loved." Please, if you're going to be mocking about people's things, please have the kindness not to do it where everyone can plainly see, while the patron in question is looking at you. One million thumbs down.

Very nice and chic used clothing store. Great concept where you can bring your clothes against a portion of the appraised value or for in-store credit. They have a great selection of clothes (ever changing). It's nice to stop by from time to time just to look at all the new items in store. And the prices are very reasonable.

all I know is these people have heart. They saw a lost little dog crossing the street multiple times and decided to take him inside so it would not get run over. That little creature was my 12 years old daughter's dear companion that had run away from the dog sitter... they called the SPCA and it ended well for us. Words can not express our gratitude. God bless.
