The staff was friendly and fun, great vibe. The pizza is amazing, the best pizza in White Rock hands down. I absolutely adore the salmon chaperone pizza! If you haven't tried it run, don't walk.... to Emilio Finattis today!!
I remember when this pizza place opened. I used to live nearby. It was fantastic pizza with magic on the crust. I'm guessing it's been 20 years.. maybe not that much. Now I'm back in the neighborhood. Ordered a Hot Sicilian, sub blue cheese instead of black olives. Yep! Yes sir! Yuhhuh! The magic is still there and the pizza is incredible. So glad to see some things haven't changed. Thank you to the staff for caring about their business. It shows. Much gusto! Parking: Watch out for by law, other than that, lots of parking on the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy streets for mobility ease.
Unfortunately disappointing. The pizza was 15 mins past 1 hour but that's alright, we understand it's busy. Upon arrival, half of one pizza was burned and the other pizza was completely stiff from overcooking. For $50, one would expect a more careful process. After calling, they were great about replacing the pizzas, just asked that I sent a couple photos in, which I did. I was then called back to say they won't remake them, as they are fine and there's nothing they can do. I spoke with the manager who was unfortunately very curt and seemed upset that I had an issue with burned pizza. She informed me that some people like their pizza crispy and if I don't want it that way I have to ask in advance....having traveled all over Italy, I can confidently say, nobody cooks any sort of Italian pizza crispy and stiff. Nobody. After having to unfortunately argue my case, she agreed to replace...one of the two burned pizzas. This replacement pizza was also 15 mins late. Also half burned. If it's supposed to be a certain consistency shouldn't it be so on both halves of the pizza? Some responsibility should be taken for at least a very uneven cooking process. Photo is of the replacement pizza. Perhaps their oven is to blame, but what really prompted the review was the way in which I had to argue to get a decent pizza, which sadly never arrived. The second star is an appreciation that they at least remade half my order. For the price especially, I wouldn't look here for authentic pizza.
The word on the street is that this is the best pizza in White Rock. I don’t know why I’ve waited so long to try it - I’ve been missing out! Got the Very Veggie thin crust pizza and it was loaded with all kinds of veggies, even butternut squash. The corners of the crust were drizzled with something sweet, probably honey. It was delicious! I’m excited to try the other veggie and seafood pizzas.
Yum! We've been waiting to try this place for a while and it was great quality pizza. I'd say it would have tasted even better if we had had it straight from the oven. We ordered and then came back as it was going to be 30 minutes. It's a busy place to the line up was long and I wasn't quite sure if I should have budged to the front to pick it up or wait in the line. I believe it was ready when they said but unfortunately we didn't get it right away do to volume. Regardless the Hot Sicilian and classic Margherita were delicious!! We will be back again
Very good pizza, purchased 10 pizzas. Not your typical selection. Excellent thin not too thin crispy flaky crust. I’m vegetarian, and if you like beets, I highly recommend the Tropical Veg, also Fungi was good.Recommended dishesVegetarians, Margarita Pizza Small, La Margherita Pizza
Sad to say, we wont be ordering from them again. My poor 75 year old mother ordered pizza over the phone. Asked the lady for a pizza with vegetarian with potato and they gave her one with pork. When she called and said we don’t eat pork and its not the potato pizza we ordered, they said sorry the menu is written online with ingredients. She asked the lady on the phone, she wasn’t able to view the menu online. She just paid for two pizzas and drinks - not cheap at all. They could have done something for her as they didn’t mention it was a pizza with pork. Terrible customer service and management. Will not be recommending friends and family to order from here anymore.
Consistent tasty pizza. Thin crust. Great topping combinations. Often a long wait on Friday and Saturday nights, but always worth it. Take out. Only a few tables outside for eating, during warm months.Food: 5/5
Delicious and crispy pizzas! After I first tried this place, kept going and bringing friends. They tend to be very busy so order ahead.
