Emerald Palace Restaurant

One of the few open late Chinese restaurants in town. Dishes was good. Salt fish fried is very good and vegetables dishes are seasoned well.

I haven't been here for 3 years, but the food was 10/10 . Just left very satisfied

Just ordered peking duck from this place for pick up and it was not good. I came right after 20 minutes as instructed. The Duck wasn’t even warm, not even any steam from the containers for my food. The portion for the duck was so small. Usually I can get full off of an order of Peking duck and have at least half left over but this was not the case at all. Most of the pieces was just a piece of skin and it was stale. Duck in general was so dry and bland. It was so disappointing. I thought this place would be good as I used to come here years ago but judging from the quality of the food regardless of takeout, and from the other reviews this place has clearly went downhill. Customer service is also ignorant.

First time order a to go and they gave us uncooked noodles in plate. I’d never return to this dirty place.

Emerald Palace is our go-to restaurant for Chinese delicacy whenever we crave for wor wonton soup and salt & pepper prawn.

Authentic and flavorful food. The quality can differ from day to day though. For example, vegetables can be crisp one day or either chewy/old the next day. Overall it is a very good restaurant to dive into cantonese cuisine. It's a small and quaint but delivers on what dining is typically like for chinese food. I'd recommend that people order from the traditional cantonese menu for an authentic taste because they have two menus 1 for cantonese, 1 for "american" chinese food. Service is average. No smiles or consistency at all. It's rather loud in the evening when the restaurant is full.

Don't order their Peking duck because they don't give you a whole duck and it's super dry and tastes stale and the fried rice is not good and the overall portion was small for a really high price. It was not worth it. Do not recommend.

The server here is the most obnoxiously rude server I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. The food is good, but do not expect decency on customer service, you will be extremely disappointed!

Located in Castleridge in Calgary Northeast. We usually dine-in but got take out this time. Older family members are still a little worried about Covid. For a Sunday the restaurant was pretty quiet compared to pre pandemic times where it would be e packed. Happy to support local businesses. Food Is always consistent and price is fair. There are two different menus if you prefer a little more traditional vs typical Chinese chicken balls ,ginger beef take out that is available on their website. Food was pretty good obviously would be better dine it but all the family members were just happy to be able to enjoy a nice Chinese meal. Would highly recommend. Will be back for sure!!!

Based on a True Story They hire 3rd party drivers to delivery the food. No mask and holding a lighter on one hand this young guy came to deliver the food. He was on something,very sketchy and it was a very bad experience to deal with him. When I made a complaint to the restaurant the lady try to give me his boss # telling me she hired him from another company. Imagine how scary that is. I told her I ordered from the restaurant and they are responsible for who they send to my house. This restaurant Emerald P. Is awful now. I saw in the bill they charge open food which is 3soysauce packages $1.00. delivery charge$2.00 even though flyer said over $35 delivery is free. This restaurant changed so much I been getting food from here since 2013.Now 2022 it's all Horrible food, worst service and lots of extra charges you will get billed for. Don't waste your money here.
