Do not hire! This people were subcontracted by a contractor without our knowledge. They came to our house, dug out our practically new perimeter drain, altered it using sub-standard materials (like duct tape), then run an outflow pipe sloping upwards to the drainage ditch. When an engineer was hired by us to determine the cause of consistent flooding in our basement, he concluded that the work done by Emerald Plumbing and Heating Ltd was the cause. The engineer went further to say that "the work was done in contradiction to all plumbing codes of BC" and instead of carrying the water away from the house, it was carrying it toward the house.
