Elsie's Used Clothing

Elsie’s is one of the best places to second hand shop in Halifax. It’s a consignment store that has clothing for about every kind of person. All items that I have purchased from here have been extremely reasonable in price and in excellent shape/great quality. I would recommend this shop to any clothing lover or anyone that appreciates a great place to grab second hand items!

Found some great quality shoes and a purse at this store. I'm not sure how anyone finds clothing since it's so busy inside and the hangers are jammed packed but if you have the time or know exactly what you're looking for it's worth a peak. Customer service was also great!

Cute place with lots of hidden treasures. Prices are reasonable - easy to find deals here. The owner is sweet and pleasant to deal with....

Amazing selection of quality and vintage clothing. Friendly and helpful staff. Mostly women's clothing but there is a decent men's section full of style and value.

I brought a bag of clothes to be consigned and the lady took out 3 items the bag was full and then put them back in the bag and said I was not her clientele and did not even look at what I brought in. She was selling multiple levis items in the store and there were levis, calvin klein, and multiple other similar brands that I brought in but she didn't even give me the time of day to look through my things. Bad customer service, too bad, it seemed like a nice spot to shop.

Superb customer service, excellent prices for high quality brand name clothing. All of the clothing are in fantastic condition as well. I am very happy with my purchases and will definitely return to this lovely spot!

Some items are a bit pricey but there is no shortage of unique finds! Everywhere you look there is something beautiful hanging. Staff is very friendly as well.

Wonderful selection of gently used women's and some men's! clothing. From hats to shoes and everything in between. The staff are amazingly friendly and very helpful. Go back often, there are always fresh items coming in.
