Called to make sure this was a family friendly restaurant, the girl I talked to on the phone said assured me it was family friendly until 9PM….this is NOT a family friendly spot, this IS a bar. We ate….for $100!!! The food was NOT worth $100 and it made 2 out of the 6 of us sick. The waitress was excellent, she tried her very best to accommodate us. The atmosphere was loud and the language was unfriendly for children. I can’t say it enough, this place is a bar not a family friendly restaurant.
Really enjoyed being there...so nice to see sissey doing an awesome job I gave the food 3 stars as batter was changed on the fish... and it really doesn't matter as it you can't please everyone. Keep up the great job of serving people.Food: 3/5
Consistent food at good prices that can't be beat. Wonderful Staff, and regulars who make you feel right at home! Favorite place in town to grab a bite and a pint, or dance the night away on a Saturday night
We arrived at 6:30 and had a party of 25. The room was so loud you couldn't hear your neighbor next to you. It took about a half hour for the waitress to take our food orders and then tye food didn't arrive till an hour and 15 minutes after. The food was hard and dry, definitely overcooked. Was not impressed overall.Food: 1/5
Service was top notch, however the food is abit pricey and doesent taste all that great. I was served dry wings and cold mozza sticks earlier. #whatarip Wheelchair accessibility: One main door comes directly into main floor perfect for anyone with mobility issues regardless of size of actual resturant .
Was here today and we had a very enjoyable meal. Large portions. My fish and mashed potatoes was very good. Prompt friendly service. Very clean. I will eat there again. Was worth the drive from Truro. Parking: Lots of space Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to go in
The best Fish & Chips I had while in the Maritimes. Stopped by for pickup, with the family waiting in the car. The service was friendly. I was totally thrown off by having to order at the bar, next to the "regulars", but even the patrons seemed friendly! Would definitely recommend it!
We are from Ontario, friends of ours from Amherst invited us to a wing night. We went in at approximately 5:00 PM we ordered wings , a couple burgers for the children. We Waited for exactly an hour and 25 minutes and we still hadn’t received our food. I requested to speak to the manager then our food started come out really quick, after the food was put out the manager came to our table , I explained to her there was approximately eight tables that had came and left , ate and paid their bills and we were still sitting with no food . The managers response was how can I make it better. I thought to myself being a previous owner of a bar I wouldn’t put it on the patron what to do to make a customer happy. I do not recommend this place I don’t think I would go back, I would have left if we hadn’t already waited a hour and a half . I also think that the manager has to learn how to deal with customers instead of putting the onus on the patrons for an answer of how to handle the problem !! the food was good our waitress was fantastic she was a new girl and felt so bad for us .
Had the spinach dip with homemade nacho chips and a Trider's red. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks to Alisha for the wonderful service. Met the Canoe Jousting champion as well!
My family and I were at the elm tree wanting wings and we’ve waiting over an hour for our food .. good waitress , very nice but the time for all our food is ridiculous.. there was at least 7 other tables came in and got their food and left before my family … I think they better review there set up on wing night
