One of my favorite meals I’ve had in Paris so far and quite a memorable one, generally. Staff was very professional, friendly and efficient. Beautiful and clean restaurant with a low key vibe. Food and wine was just so, so good. Innovative with flavor pairings that made the experience all more special. A MUST EAT. xo
Elmer was amazing. It had a homey and relaxed warm ambience. Each dish felt a bit farm to table and they really perfected the composition. We had the pork for two, meringue and chocolate tart. The service was very attentive.
Stunning wonderful meal. Service was spectacular. Kind and gracious. I was there solo. They were attentive and made me feel like I was appreciated. Can’t wait to go back. One of the best Meals I have had in all of Europe.
The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The langoustine ravioli, and pigeon with wine reduction are exceptional in flavours, the fish is very tender and would also have been amazing had there been less surprise bones and veg other than parsnip to pair with it : The space is cozy but tables are a little too closely packed
Delicious restaurant find in Paris! I was there by myself with no reservation, but they were able to seat me outside which worked fine. The service was very good, and the food was phenomenal. I tried a refreshing cocktail to start and had a nice glass of red with dinner that the waitress recommended. First they start you with a complementary toast/waffle piece with a salmon mousse. Delicious! I ordered what I believe was almost a pollock ceviche appetizer and it was fantastic! All the bread is delicious here as well. For main course I opted for the poultry Guinea fowl which was equally tasty. It was neat the way they plated the white and dark meats separately. For dessert I tried the “Chocolat” which was kind of in between a dark chocolate cake and mousse; and it had an accent small scoop of orange ice cream. Perfect end to the meal. Last but not least they brought mini cream puffs with the check. Definitely recommend this place! It’s a bit pricey but worth it. *Update* - visited again in July and was equally as fantastic as my first visit. Would say the service was even better this time if that is possible. They were super attentive and in tune with what I needed and I could tell the same was occurring for other tables as well. The veal entree and the tuna app were fantastic and the strawberry focused dessert was very refreshing.
Best food I had in Paris. The froi gras was the best dish of my trip, the silkiest, most flavourful froi gras I’ve ever had. The lamb was also tender and delicious. Tart was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. Ambience was relaxed yet refined. Not cheap, but worth it!
Friendly and professional staff. We were lucky to get a table on a saturday evening, since the place was fully booked. Food was great and sommelier helped with wine pairings, which were on point.
A charming neighborhood restaurant with an ever changing menu. The duck tartare was compositionally complex yet light. Pine nuts and pistachio added both texture and a subtle umami flavor, and it was topped with shreds of mimolette cheese that melted on taste but left no discernible aftertaste. The overall lack of lingering flavor placed an emphasis on the texture of raw duck, which was very enjoyable. The steak felt like it was only cooked in butter; on the other hand, the eggplant was had a rather distinct sauce like an acidic hoisin. It didn’t feel like there was much synergy between the eggplant and steak. The cut of beef from a mature cow was particularly lean and at times hard to chew. The raspberry dessert was unexpectedly tart from the raspberry sorbet, but this paired well with sweet lemon custard and meringues.
Had lunch so maybe that’s why the dishes were good but simple. Wine selection was good and the service was wonderful
Just beautiful in every way. Everything we ate in Elmer was exquisite. The service was impeccable. We asked for advice with wine choice and they spent a lot of time discussing what we like and the recommendation was perfect with our meal
