What we thought was a beautiful stay turned into waking up to a freezing cabin.  Furnace wasn't working person wasn't coming in til 9 am to fix it.. then came back from a beautiful ride wanting to have a nice shower and no hot water . Went and told them , they said they would get someone to come fix it and we'll no one came.. Other then that it was alright. Great staff beautiful location

Everything was perfect! Even the winter weather. Nights here are gorgeous. Amazing staff at every turn. Clean room. Great food.  Love love the atmosphere inside the Lodge.Food: 5/5

This place has been an aweful experience. I have stayed in the past while working at a local mine and couldnt wait to return. They frequently accommodate our company while we work near by. However this time has been disgusting. Zero hot water and not a care to fix it while being here for the last 5 days even though we addressed it with the owner. We then have ordered food and not recieved it, we ordered food and were given what they chose for us not what we ordered. They have no apologies and no responsibility to fix it. I shall be addressing these issue with our company and requesting we look in to alternative accommodations here on out. It's a shame because the accommodations and the property is beautiful however clearly the owners no longer care for their priorities. My recommendation is to skip this one and keep looking.

A peaceful winter paradise! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elk Lake Lodge & Eco Centre. Friendly staff, amazing home cooked meals and cozy cottage charm made this a great place to stay for our snowmobile trip. Perfectly positioned on the A trail with lots of parking for trailers, this is an excellent starting point for anyone riding to New Liskeard, Kirkland Lake, Gowganda or beyond. The cabin was well equipped with a kitchenette and bbq and a quaint place to relax after a day of riding. We didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities like snowshoeing, cross country skiing and tobogganing, included with each stay. Our group had a great time at the St. Patrick's Day party put on by the staff, complete with green beer, shamrock shooters and Shepherd's pie. Our kids had fun playing pool and games in front of the roaring fire in the main Lodge and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Definitely worth the drive to Elk Lake, we will be back!

We had the Valentine’s dinner on 14 February and it was excellent. Food was well presented and very tasty We were not rushed. And the service was excellent.

Great place to stay. Spent 3 night here for a guys snowmobile trip. Food was good and service was excellent.

The Eco started serving breakfast these week so I thought I would give it a shot, boy was I pleasantly surprised with what I got! You would be hard pressed to beat the amount of food that I got for the price I paid, not to mention the great service! Way to go Eco Centre well done!!!!Service: 5/5

Place looked beautiful but unfortunately we were turned away at the door as they had a private event. Pretty disappointing when you plan your day to stop for food.
