Lovely spa I have been here before but lockers in the ladies changing rooms are a big issue as they don’t lock, lady from reception came and helped me and had to pop her own code in so i when I needed to open my locker later I had to let her know, when we got back to my locker after 5 hours it had already been opened and the door was wide open! Luckily nothing had been taken but I was far from impressed, the lady on reception said they have a major problem which management are aware of! I’m not sure if I would return to be honest, the afternoon tea was lovely but very disorganised, and staff were saying one of you vegetarian but neither of us were, they were confusing us with another table, then we were asked if we were ready for our afternoon tea when we had already had it, but were waiting for scones. Lovely staff in the afternoon area but no communication.

I have a bad taste left in my mouth from my experience with this spa. I tried a trial session as i was looking for membership for myself and my parents and was satisfied enough, despite the poor conditions of the locker room and hot tub, to look to join. Upon realising they wanted over £1000 upfront for the year ,including a pricey 150 joining fee, in order to receive ANY of the benefits including access to towels I wrote an email politely questioning this and if there was leniency if I could pay per month on a direct debit contract. It’s been two weeks with no reply to that email and I’ve found elsewhere with better facilities, cheaper, and per month costs including benefits. This spa has lost out on myself and my parents as members by just ignoring my email. If you’re going for the day it is perfectly fine but I wouldn’t recommend membership as you can get better value elsewhere.

I love the afternoon tea here, the staff are superb and the whole experience is just bliss. Well done to all the team here, we will be booking again soon.

Very disappointed. Website said brunch in spa cafe. Staff were totally baffled by our arrival. Told us they were not set up for this after querying why we has arrived! When they found a waitress for us she was blunt and unfriendly. We asked for salt and pepper and told us she'd have to go to the main restaurant to get them. She took quite a while...my son had actually finished his meal before the seasoning arrived. When we came to pay the staff asked our name to find us on the till..I explained that nobody asked us our name. After searching the till computer she manually input our meal while we waited. No pleasantries to hospitality shown at all. We were planning to have a family festive meal at the Greenway......having a rethink after the lack of good customer service shown us today

I went to this spa for a half day spa package on Easter Sunday. I booked online for Saturday but I received an email 2 hours later informing that they didn’t have availability for Saturday don’t pretend to have a super modern booking system if you are not really prepare to have it. I have them a call to reschedule my half day package for Sunday afternoon. They booked me for lunch at 1pm and treatments at 2 pm. As I wasn’t sure which treatment my partner wanted, I said I was going to call them back after checking with him. 10 minutes later I called and no one picked the phone so I left a message in the voicemail. My surprise was that on Saturday the day before of my booking I received an email not even a phone call to inform me that they didn’t have availability for Sunday afternoon and that they could only have us on Sunday morning. So I had to change my plans again 3rd time and go to the spa on Sunday morning. My experience with the booking and the u skilled receptionists was terrible as you can read here. I enjoyed the facilities, the treatment and the food although the food came through quite slowly because apparently they were having Sunday roast in the main restaurant. I won’t definitely recommend this place.

Very well run, with friendly and professional staff offering a variety of treatments. The outdoor courtyard is a delight, with wooden jacuzzi and fireplace. Whilst not the largest, the staff are careful to not over subscribe the spa, so there's always physical and mental space to unwind.

I was sadly in a terrible accident by the Spa and was left with no car. My lovely husband tried to have the day re-scheduled but was told I would lose the day. After my car was taken and still felt pretty shaken, I made my way to the spa. I was greeted by the worse unskilled receptionist, whom by the way did not ask how I was doing! I was pretty upset and was told that I lost my first massage as the appointment was 10 am by the way, I was in an accident!!!. Did not feel like having my lunch, just felt like I wanted to leave. Fortunately Emily the manager and the real person with customers skills came and looked after me. I wish to thank her for kindness and humanity and making my day a very special one!

Nice place, great food and cocktails but the spa desk lady was not very helpful at all. Very austere. We were told on the phone that since we were getting in late we could use the spa for the bit we could that evening and then for a bit before we left the next day too but they they changed their minds on the day and said no they couldn't do that, even though the place wasn't busy... Get any agreement with them in writing. It sort of put a dampener on what should have been a purely delightful visit. The rest of the hotel and grounds are great and the massages were great and those ladies were lovely... Without that receptionist and u-turn on an agreement that meant we chose that place it would have been 4 stars... They would get star 5 if they sort out the rubbish cold water pressure in the spa showers and make the Hot tub smell nicer.
