One of my favorite BBQ place. Love the ribs and the tomato pickles. Fried chicken is also a must try. I like dry rub ribs and this rib is no doubt my favourite in Toronto. Update: they changed their menu. Now they no longer have sausages and Toyota pickles. Just regular pickles but still very tasty. They now serve wings as well.
A cute little place I'll be sad to see close at the end of the year. I love how friendly the staff is and how cozy the restaurant is. Their ribs are super tender with great sauce and I love love their spicy fried chicken. I don't even like pickles but it goes perfectly with the kind of deep spiciness that comes with the chicken. I could eat 5 of those myself.
Great authentic southern BBQ with excellent drink specials and neat decor. the food is top notch and the prices are decent.
Great atmosphere. Tasty beer. Great dry rub wings. Platter, a tad small for what one pays. Tasty chicken and ribs but a bit cold I thought. 3.5 stars
Brisket was perfectly fatty. Just the way I expect it to be. The "BBQ plate" had a good variety of items, and a solid amount of food fit for two. I couldn't finish it all my own. Great place to hang out when the weather is good
Great local BBQ joint. Unpretentious food and service. I like that it's not overhyped like most places in the downtown core. Prices are reasonable for BBQ.
Well this little gem is about to close. Last day is December 23, 2018. Plans are to close renovate over a three month timeline and come back as something NEW. Not sure yet as to what kind of environment it will be. However i am pretty sure it won't be back as a KFC outlet. which is what this location was before Electric BarBQue.ONE downside. They only take cash. Debit NO. Credit cards NO. There is an ATM on site. Oh and the food is pretty good too!
Daily smoked meat awesomeness and the most refreshing Lemon Aids made in house. The only BBQ Joint you need to visit.
A great little place housed in a building that once was a KFC outlet in the Brock and Queen area of Parkdale. Different drink specials every night of the week keep you coming back. A rib; chicken, brisket kind of place, with some interesting side dishes. The spicy cauliflower will open up your tastebuds. Staff are friendly and quick to help you out. It can get to be busy.
The Nashville hot chicken had just the right kick to it and was a hefty, crunchy portion. The lager was pretty great, too! Definitely coming back.
