As usual the catfish is ALWAYS made perfectly. Taste and smells fresh also not overly seasoned. Of the sides.. I love the Okra. The spaghetti was so good just slight over cooked pasta noodles. Macaroni was too buttery for my liking and I didn’t like how the greens were seasoned. All my personal preferences. The food is great and super affordable. Must try!
Katrina at the counter is delightful and the people doing the cooking...wow. Chess cake! Masterpiece! And the two chili cheese burger lunch special with fries and a can of soda is a GREAT deal, not to mention delicious. There are tables to eat in but most get it to go. And I usually drive to one of the nearby riverside parks for a little picnic.
My friend took me 4 lunch. I got a 6pc catfish snack. Fried okra, with cornbread. I hadn't been to Elam brothers in over 40 year! I thought they were all closed? Great job ladies& Melvin.Food: 5/5

I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I ordered whiting w/shrimp, collards greens, mac&cheese and peach cobbler. Eveything was seasoned to perfection. Best soulfood I've had from a restaurant in years. Customer service was great as well. If I ever come into town again, I will be sure to patronize this establishment!

I was a child the last time I'd eaten from Elam Brothers. The food is as good as I remembered 36 yrs ago! Not only is the service great, but they actually care about you.Food: 5/5
Even though they didn't have my Caramel cake but I got the hook up now. So good stop in say hi and get a delicious dinner and don't forget dessert Parking: Street parking is allowed and there is a lot across the street and on the side of the building.
