El Sazón Mexicano

Really delicious bakery shop and dinner and food! I love the sweets that are just the right amount of sweet and not overly sugary or with tons of icing. I had the sprinkle cookies and the specialty donut style bun pan dulce "sweet bread" and both were delicious!! The staff was really nice and answered all of my questions. The takeout food looks and smells really good as well. I will definitely be back! I got photos of the menu and all of the various sweet treats that you can see. But we'll be back for food!! The entrance has a small door but is accessible with no ramp right directly from the street.

The service here is not good. The last two times I visited I felt swindled and left unsatisfied. First time, we got there just before 5 and I didn't know their buffet hours. You'd think they would care enough about their customers to tell them but when I asked for the buffet I was not told a thing. Almost all the food was gone and we still paid full price. The next time we went we made sure to get there early. We had to wait around 30minutes but the place was busy so that's understandable. By the time we were seated it was around 3:30. Once again no one told us no more food would be coming out and guess what, no more food was made. We had to eat our "fill" from literally only 3 dishes. These guys clearly only care about money because I had to complain more than once and even then they didn't even take off 50% of the bill even though they should have not charged us a dime for purposely not mentioning anything when we specified we were there for the buffet. I'm never going back to this place because of the lack of care for their patrons. Just remember...customers make or break your business!

If you are a lover of Mexican food and want to eat a lot for a fair price, El sazón mexicano is the best option on Sundays since it has buffets from 12:00 to 4:00 for only $26. The service is good and the staff is very friendly.

I think it could improve, starting by get more people for service, because in weekend just one person was giving attention to customers, the waiter was nice though, also they didn't have beer, it was like 3 p.m. ...Food: 3/5

We've had brunch here, which was delicious! Make sure you get the cafe de olla. We also special ordered pan dulces for our wedding from El Sazon. They made smaller sizes of the pan dulces for us, and these were a hit at the reception!

I wanted to try this on a nice cold rainy day. The restaurant looks great and is very appealing. The girl at the counter was very hospitable. I ordered a Burrito. It was good in a way I will go there if I am in the neighbourhood. But will not plan a meal there. It has to happen accidentally for me. One thing about the food, it was not greasy and I love it this way. Few places make the food greasy to make it more appealing to the appetite.

Not very good tamales. Was just small bits of pork or chicken in massa. Their pictures make them look better. Tacos were ok.Food: 3/5

The food has a homie flavor that make me feel I was in my abuelita's house. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. My new favorite mexican restaurant in Toronto

Ordered the chicken enmoladas, they were fantastic. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the mole sauce was delicious. They came with beans and rice. Beans were good, wasn’t a fan of the rice. Tasted like they used canned peas which added a funny flavour. The only reason I’m giving 5 stars is because the enmoladas were that good! Do yourself a favour and skip the rice.
