The food portions were insane, so much and tasty. I have a texture problem so I absolutely do not eat chopped onions and pepper on the same plate, but they made it so good i did not notice. Sadly I didn’t know what i wanted so i ended up ordering everything but next time i know what’s up
Great food and great price. El Lorito is a very reliable place to get some good food and drinks. Everything is priced fair and the portions are huge chicken chimichangas are my go-to. Very fun atmosphere inside with hand painted booths and chairs. And with a very friendly staff, this is a great place to stop.
Stopped in by myself right around lunch time. Not too busy inside, was seated quickly. Was served chips, salsa, and a sour cream based dip that was great. Chips could use some work, were a bit stale. Ordered street tacos - carne asada and Al pastor. Meat was very flavorful! I will definitely come back again
Very friendly service! Chips and salsa were brought to table immediately. Large menu with many great options. Full bar service. The food tasted great. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant if you want good Mexican food!
I stop by coincident and get a big impression. The place is beatifull and the food is delicious. The service was also very good, what ese you can ask for...
This is my favorite place for Mexican food! You couldn't find a nicer more attentive staff. The food is served hot and fresh. Their margaritas are a variety of flavors and all of them delicious. The menu has everything & more of authentic cuisine. The decor of bright colors makes this place fun & inviting. Also, my disabled friend frequently meets me here and they accommodate him by allowing him to use their alternate entrance. That is really special for us as this was his favorite restaurant before he became disabled. Highly recommend!!! Wheelchair accessibility: The main entrance is a bit narrow for wider wheelchairs. Ask the host to use the emergency exit door at front restaurant for easy entry into the dining area. There is a sidewalk for easy wheelchair access. The dining area is spaced out enough for a wheelchair & can easily pull up to a table.
EXPERIENCE: Super good and just what I was craving! They have off street parking. We went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but we didn't have to wait at all for seating. I would say they need more seating room however and a patio would be a nice addition, if possible. DRINKS: Our server was very friendly and suggested "margarita! margarita!" when I was struck with indecision choosing a drink and that was just the encouragement I needed! We started with margs, traditional lime. I had blended and my companion had on the rocks. Mine was better. After drinking about a third of the OTR Marg though, it tasted like there was no booze left in it. Unsure if it was getting watered down or just wasn't mixed enough ‍ Reasonably priced Medium was $8.75 and Large was $13.99. APPETIZER: We had Queso Fundido for an app, so good, $10.99 ENTREES: We had the Seafood Enchiladas $15.99 and Burrito Grande $12.99. No complaints, except the rice was a little bland. CONCLUSION: Bathrooms were clean and accessible. Our drinks and food all came out impressively fast and we brought home LOTS of leftovers. Our bill for 2 people before tip was $66.83. Not bad for getting an appetizer and being the portion sizes were so generous, for both food and drinks, that is. I would definitely go back to El Lorito.
Friendly service, food was fresh and delicious, large portions definitely enough to share, restaurant was clean.
The food is excellent and the tortillas are fresh. The prices seem a few bucks higher than similar restaurants, but the portions are enormous and delicious so it evens out. A medium margarita is probably 3-4 drinks. Great vibe and excellent service. I'd highly recommend going to El Lorito.
This is the best Mexican Restaurant in the Twin Cities! Highly recommend the frozen margaritas. I dine here frequently and try something different each time. Never disappointed! The staff… helps to make this place the best! LOVE this place!
