A hidden gem for delicious crispy chicken sandwiches and chicken and waffles! The waffle machine was broken when we came so they gave us pancakes instead and they were soooo delicious! I found the honey buffalo sauce a bit overwhelming in the chicken sandwich, but the chicken was juicy and delicious! Their wings are also my favourite and so tender and crispy.

An excellent location for a bite of soul food. They offer fried chicken sandos, tacos, Buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and other wonderful dishes. The chicken sandos are a great option. The chicken is flavourful and is combined with a soft brioche bun and homemade sauces to give you a wonderful experience. I personally loved the chicken tacos, but my wife didn't like the goat cheese garnish. We both didn't like the fish taco because the fish had a strong smell that overpowered the toppings, and the batter soaked up the toppings to give a very gooey texture. The Buffalo Mac and cheese was amazing. The sauce that brings together the macaroni bits paired with the fried buffalo chicken will make your heart and mouth feel relaxed. I highly recommend this dish. Keep in mind that this place is takeout only. But there are seating options located in the strip mall. The owner is very friendly and lively. You can tell that he is extremely passionate and dedicated to his food. I commend his effort and commitment. Thank you for having me and trying your dishes.

GF saw this place on Tik Tok. Had to come try it. This place did not miss on anything. - Chicken and waffles are delicious. The waffle just soaks up the sauce on the chicken strip, and is super fluffy and flavourful. -Chicken strip themselves are cooked perfectly. The breading is crispy and seasoned well. The interior chicken is super tender and juicy. Easily the best chicken tenders in the GTA IMO. -The tacos are money. They were my GF's and I favourite. The Slaw ontop of the taco is perfectly balanced to the seasoned chicken meat. Oaxaca cheese adds a delicious creaminess to the taco, and the crispy shell holds up to the ingredients within. I highly recommend you try this place. And go to the location if you have the means to. Support local businesses, don't use a delivery app you are robbing yourself the experience of meeting the owner and seeing the relationship between him and the staff. The owner easily has a +5 in Charisma, is very inviting and authentic. Definitely coming back to this place. 9/10.

I tried the chef special sandwich and I absolutely loved the flavour burst in my mouth. It's a tiny place in the plaza but highly recommended for takeouts as there's no sitting available here. Price is a little on the higher side, expect to spend at least $20 for a sandwich meal but worth the try!

I have to say this trendy hot honey sandwich is one of the best here. The fries and wedges were delicious as well. Portions are amazing!! Took a star off for 2 things: - They have promos that aren’t advertised on their menu. It was hard to see at their location as well. I forget the name but it was a box for I think about $40 which I thought was a better deal than what i ordered. Unfortunately, I didn’t see it until after the order was placed. - As seen in one of the pictures. There was inconsistency on the portion of the Patties. One had much more meat than the other. Despite that, it was still freaking delicious!

Delicious juicy, saucy chicken sandwich. I got the ball up boxes and they were $15 each chicken sandwich and fish taco and has a little bit of everything chicken wings, tender, Cajun fries. The chicken tender was huge. The breading on all the items at this place is fire! Def a gem and worth a visit.

Food and service are amazing! They really make you feel at home here. This is probably the best tacos I've ever had. Burgers are also super delicious Food: 5/5

You need to eat here - truly a great business to support. Love the chicken sandwiches, the manganero is so perfect. And the honey Buffalo sauce... wow. If you like dark meat, go for the jerk. It comes on a hard sweet bread too, different than the regular sandwiches, worth trying. The staff/owner are very kind and care about their food and quality and customer experience - and you won't leave here hungry that's for sure. Portions are fantastic The biggest draw for us is everything is completely 100% hald-slaughtered Halal certified. This alone is worth 5 stars! Thank you everyone at El Jefe!

First time here and didn’t know what to order so I went with the chef special. Soooooo damn good! Wish I had another one . It’s basically a huge chicken sandwich with a honey barbecue sauce with a tad spicy but not that spicy . I am telling you. It is so damn good. We will definitely come back.!!! 10/10 oh and the crunch on the chicken was amazing. Almost like the same type of crunch you found find in tempura ! So damn good

Excellent place for some yummy food! Honey buffalo chicken sandwich was SOOO good, must try for sure! I also specifically loved their mango dipping sauce with chicken tenders as it was so fresh and a perfect combination.
