Service was good, clean place. Family place so don't be shocked if you hear a noisy kid. I ordered the ultimate BLT and it was great! Caution, Iced tea comes out of a can. Fries were perfectly seasoned but server with mayo. Ketchup is provided. Overall great lunch.
Visited here in October 2022: This location is in a nice spot in Montreal. My wife and I showed up and got a table within 10 minutes of waiting. I was impressed at all of the food options on the menu. The creative french toast was delicious, and I would easily get it again. Had some coffee as well, which was great, as I don't typically drink coffee without a lot of sweeteners. Our server was busy, but attentive to making sure we had what we needed at all times. If you're from the states, expect a little slower service here, but that comes with not being rushed out the door as soon as you're done eating and paid. Restroomtoilette was located downstairs but was clean. Would easily return again if visiting Montreal.
I am not sure why this location has a lower rating, but hubby and I absolutely loved it! The green light was superb! It was a well balanced between the green veggies and fruit. The eggstraordinary plate was made to my liking with scramble eggs, bacon, potatoes the best I ever had, and French toast. Everything was A++++ and I would say make sure you give it a try. The hubby had the Montreal Benny and he also loved it! I tried a piece and was very impressed. Hubby had some hot tea and said it was good, but I didn’t try it because it looked too basic for me lol.
Came for breakfast/brunch with my wife. Ordered the All-American breakfast, smoked salmon Benny, french toast flambe, a tropical teaser smoothie and a cappuccino. Food wise it was good - only avoid the french toast. It was soggy with mushy fruits and tasted bland. For the above including a 15% tip which makes no sense since there was no special service to warrant it but the waitress stood next to me as I chose the tipping option making it quite uncomfortable , it cost us $91 - for breakfast!!! Next time I'd just get a quick breakfast from Subways/McDonald's instead of having to sell my kidney just to get some breakfast.
Food was really great. I would eat here and try other items on their menu since they look very delicious. Only reason I took 1 star off is because they over charge you. When the bill comes price is different than what you see on the menu. It’s only a couple of dollars difference. I did mention it to the waiter and she just lied. I didn’t feel like arguing over a couple of dollars since we were on a vacation but still they should not do it. But the food was really delicious and I would love eat again, may be in a different location or be more careful how much they are charging me.
Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Food was okay, but nothing great. We ordered the chicken and waffles, the meat lovers omelette, and the chocolate banana crepe. The chicken and waffles honestly caught us off guard because it was just a waffle with some dry cut up chicken tenders on top. Was very disappointing and honestly a little funny. The meat lovers omelette was pretty good, but keep in mind it doesn't come with and bread/toast, just some home fries and fruit. But it's pretty filling so you shouldn't need any toast. The chocolate crepe was mediocre, nothing great. .
I’m still sitting down in the restaurant as I write this review. Nothing inherently bad about the place, certainly nothing special. Especially not for $65 dollars. I’m visiting Montreal and decided to give it a go. We ordered the Montreal Bene, and the French toast. Both weren’t bad but nothing to write home about. My main gripe is the side of eggs I ordered. Looked like it was pre-made a couple of hours ago and tossed into a dish. This to me is something I’d expect my nephew to make on Mother’s Day when he’s 7 years old. Shockingly bland and presentation was awful. Overall, if you got no other choice, you can do worse, but I wouldn’t come back.
I shouldn’t have expected much. The french toast I ordered was a joke. But this is a diner, not a restaurant nor a cafe. I do appreciate the bottomless coffee. Otherwise the french toast wasn’t sufficiently soaked before pan-fried. I wonder if the were cheap on eggs, milk and butter. And, it tasted like they used cheap strawberry jam, which killed pure maple syrup that the menu claimed they used. $26 for cheap tasting french toast and coffee. I have to give them no other than one star.
Solid place for a good breakfast. Service was fast. Only reason for 4 stars, we were seated at a dirty sticky juice table.
This brand is one of my brunch favorites but this branch will not be my choice for the next time. The meal was cold, not well designed, the service was very bad. The potato was raw. We didnt get the toast with the omlette or the benedict. The coffee taste was not good, we got refills very late. There were only about five guests in the hall but very bad service.
