The doctors and nurses here were very friendly and informative. Our newborn was given lots of attention and everything was fully explained to us. We had virtually no wait time, and we were treated with very high urgency. Our visit to this ER was definitely #1 compared to other places that we've visited.

Bad experience in ER brought my daughter in with fever that we were unable to control explained that she also had two other issue; she was giving 3 liters of IV and told that the other two issues were just coincidental 🙄 and sent home. The next day I took her to DuPage and they were surprised at what we were told. The evaluated her was given two more liters of IV and ran some tests she was diagnosed with acute bronchitis, Strep, and two other diagnosis was prescribed the proper medication and it’s taken a week but she is finally better.

I took my daughter to Pediatrics,Dupage medical for Eye infection. Pediatrics said minor eye infection, gave some ointment and send a note to Edward ER to remove the Fuss from her EYE since pediatrics doesn't have efficient nurse to remove the fuss.
I visited the ER and clearly communicated my pediatrics note and they also reads the doctor note. But still they took to ER and a doctor has seen my daughter and said that this should be looked by ophthalmologist and who doesn't available on the day . They given the contact details of ophthalmologist .
Later they sends the bill 254$ after insurance. I called help-desk and they said that you have to pay if you have visited the ER. Finally they gave 15% discount on my bill. It is unfair to sends the bill with out doing anything to my daughter.

They have no respect for the customers.
My daughter, 11 years old was sick, so my wife took her to the IR and they let her wait for around 45 minuets till they gave her a room, and they gave her very bad room... the room with no equipment... the room that they use for spare while there was couple of rooms available with equipments but none was provided to my daughter with no reason.
Secondly, the doctor provide a WRONG prescription to my daughter and fortunately the Walgreen pharmacist catch this and correct before my daughter took the wrong medication.

After living in Naperville since I was a child I couldn’t believe all the negative reviews until I had to go to the ER and be admitted. The staff in the ER was very nice and as helpful as possible. After being admitted however matters quickly took a turn for the worst. The ER doctor and the internist both agreed on one diagnosis but the gastroenterologist disagreed and was very accusatory that my pain was disproportionate to what she believed it was. That was bad enough but then I had a nurse that was so unbelievably rude I had to ask that she be switched. I attempted to call the patient advocate which is the number being given to make things right in all these negative posts but it’s just a recording. There is nobody to actually speak with in real time. I could go on and on but in short I can’t believe this is the same hospital from my childhood. Just horrendous treatment, unless I’m absolutely on my death bed and have no choice I would never go there again. Drive the 15 min. Go to CDH and be treated like a human.
