Dr. Cohan is very thorough and checks in on patients. As someone who was pregnant and had covid delta in fall 2021 he organized phone check ins frequently over 2 weeks to check in to make sure the baby and I were doing okay. I find the clinic hours and staff great. Whenever I have left a message with reception I have been called back promptly.
The most arrogant, on professions doctor my wife .ever had. Very judgemental and rude. He is so bad. Has not done anything for my wife and insulted her based on her taking anti depressant. Telling her and rotating his finger on his head saying she has all in her mind. My wife thought of complainig on the college website but. He is not worth even that amount of time and effort. I hope he won't get anywhere in this shortage of doctors in bc. He took her way back down to the level of a traditional middle eastern cultural behaviour to putting women down to this level. My wife comes from a family of political activists, they ran away from Iranian government and he literally reminded us as our government, how to put women down. He accused her of lying. He prescribed her medications due to her condition. So why accusing her. And still my wife of being professional health care said. Leave it alone. He doesn't worth my time and energy
I will give zero stars if possible. This clinic really needs to update their booking system. Everytime I called, they told me nothing is available/not accepting walk in at the moment. I ve never been able to book a future appointment nor has they told me the earliest appointment time. I am assuming they only takes walk in but they never made it clear.
They never call at the time that they promise. But I have to thank you the walking doctor... he called me 7pm on Friday to give me a feedback about my exams. Thank you.
Wish I could give zero review.Doctors are becoming a big business now and this clinic is no different, this place is only interested in the visits so they can make money. Everytime I take my parents, they say two symptoms per visit, if you have more symptoms book another visit. Also Doctor Zandi told me to take my kids out of the clinic cause they were crying.Medical system is failing us and its time to talk about it.Save your time and find another clinic.
Unprofessional and incompetent people, not taking patients health or time seriously. Had an appointment booked for a severe pain, and was made to wait an hour even after the appointment. Dr. Cohan saw me for less than 2 mins, however was nice. Said he will be prescribing three medicines, and that they should reach my pharmacy in a minute or two as will be sent right away. When I reached my pharmacy an hour later, came to know that the prescription had still not come through! Called multiple times at the clinic, and the receptionist would just keep me on hold without listening. When I got hold of them, she said she has sent the prescription now, but had still not reached the pharmacy around 10 mins later. I had someone from the pharmacy call them after and the prescription finally came but only for 1 out of the 3 things doctor had mentioned. And the pharmacy asked me to come again an hour later. When I called the clinic again asking why only 1 prescription has been sent instead of 3, Dr. Cohan had nicely explained how the three things will work together to help ease my pain and infection, and the receptionist mentioned that is all she has received. I asked her to confirm again with the doctor, to which she responded that he is very busy and I should call back tomorrow instead. The one star here is only for the goodness of Dr. Cohan. Because all this while, the clinic showed zero empathy, no apology, and expected me to be in the severe pain for hours and now days. I guess they don't care about the patients or people at all, and also don't believe in doing their jobs sincerely, even if it is something as simple as sending the prescription to the pharmacy.
I was extremely happy with dealing with both the receptionist and Dr Cohan. I was a first time patient yesterday and the receptionist listened with care and offered me a few options in seeing a doctor. During these times of Covid, I was happy to be offered a face time consult with Dr Cohan. I found him to be both professional and warm and I left the appointment feeling cared for and at ease about solving my medical issue. Many thanks!
I saw Dr. Madjid Cohan and my experience was absolutely awful. He was incredibly rude, angry, and made me feel so unimportant. I had been to him a number of times, out of convenience since it is so close to where I live. After leaving the clinic in tears at my last appointment I finally convinced myself to go find another doctor that would care more about my needs. I found an exponentially better doctor the next day. This clinic will only allow you to talk about one issue and the doctors rush in and out without really listening to you. Save yourself the wasted time and just go to another clinic.
Inexcusable to have a medication prescribed that is red flagged as a contraindication for a serious health condition. The Dr at this clinic was aware of the condition and was asked to check. Thank goodness the pharmacist at London Drugs caught the problem. The Dr at this clinic neglected to follow up to discuss the problem when requested. Also he forgot to provide lab test forms as needed and had to be reminded. No issues with BC Health excuse a lack of care.
Dr Cohan is a very thorough family doctor who listens and doesn’t jump to conclusions which is fantastic. Staff are polite and friendly. Sometimes there might be a delay if they have a couple of important issues to deal with and Dr Cohan takes his time to talk things through quickly/ properly. He picked up on a couple of things my last family doctor overlooked and tested things which the former doctor had dismissed without checking. We are sad to move out of the area and have to look for a new one. Great with kids too.
