Econo Lodge

Was nervous when seeing previous and sometimes contradictory past reviews. This motel does look quite run-down on the outside and sits in an industrial portion of town facing a railroad crossing which is rather awesome if you're a train nut like me. But the staff is FANTASTIC and the room was clean and well appointed. The small wing restaurant next door accessible through the motel as well is very good. In short - it's not the Ritz Carlton, but one could do much worse! If you want a clean comfortable room with a welcoming staff - I recommend this Econo Lodge location!

The staff is nice, and the rooms are fine. What’s not fine is the location, it’s right next to a railway. I stayed for 5 nights, and I wanna say that railway averages 4 trains per night, and they blow the horn as loud as they can repeatedly over the span of 5min or more. They also only choose to come by after 8pm which is a lovely touch. I didn’t get a wink of sleep. If you come here be ready to be woken up every night in 2-3 hr intervals through the whole night by the loudest horn you can imagine, which will not stop for at least 5 minutes. If I knew I was going to sleep this little I would’ve slept outside in my car, at least I could find a quiet place to park. It’s good value but if you want to sleep don’t come here.

The staff is very friendly! The room is spacious. The wash basin and toilet are separate! The price is affordable! The breakfast is also great! The bed is also very comfortable! I will come again next time!

What can i say. This place has bugs. I seen a cockroach when i was checking out of my room due to my co worker having bed bugs in their room. I never felt so dirty in my life or had anxiety until i had to search all my belongings before putting them in my vehicle then I left then in the heat then checked them again before entering another hotel. Please check your room if you dare. Also on weekends the bass from the bar rattles your windows.
