I have been getting deliveries and take outs from this restaurant during Covid-19. Loved the dishes that I tried before and finally dined in for dinner. Food tasted so much better at the restaurant. Affordable price. Large portions. My favourite everyday restaurant. Cons: restaurant was quite busy today and 2-3waitress. We were lucky since it wasn’t busy when we arrived. But later, I saw others had to wait for long time to get serviced.
Don't bother making a reservation as they'll give your table away and make you wait anyway. Very mediocre dim sum that wasn't even worth the wait in the end. They were so swamped when we came that they were seating people at tables that hadn’t been fully cleaned or were set with dirty/broken dishes. There was also a disturbingly strong and very unappetizing sweaty smell in various places around the restaurant. The worst offenders were the siew mai which looked like it had been dropped a few times and were bursting out of their skins, and the shrimp paste eggplant, with eggplant skins that had the texture and flavour of cardboard...
Nice dim sum here. A few dishes not found often. Light flavours good dim sum chef. Pandemic precautions a bit nebulous we were seated at a dirt table. Right now that's a big NO NO. Front house issue and attitude. Other that that we moved and insisted the food was pretty good. Service good as well.
This is a great Dim Sum spot for families and friends. I would give a 5 for taste and speed of the food, but it was a bit too loud for me, so it’s a 4. However, if you are with another person, you can grab a smaller table and you won’t have any problem chatting. I would come back for shrimp dumplings, rice rolls and sponge cakes.
We have the Alaska king crab dinner. It is so delicious. Service is very good, server is very attentive. Highly recommend. We are from Winnipeg and this restaurant is recommended by a local friend. No disappointment.Food: 5/5

Dimsum was slightly above average as there could've been an improvement in the taste. Otherwise not bad place for dim sum. Great service and reasonable prices. Went 2day for dimsum. Service was very good and food was average. The SuiMai was very good though. For 5 dimsum dishes and 3 regular menu dishes the price came to $105.....expensive ??? Dimsum average price is $8 and regular menu dishes are $20.
Easily one of the best Cantonese restaurants in all of the lower mainland. My family has been coming here for years and it's quality and service has been unmatched. It's hard finding a restaurant that has authentic, and high quality Cantonese food, but also at a good price point. The portion size is also great too. I've tried nearly all the Chinese restaurants out there and Eastern Pearl just hits different. The owners are especially nice towards us and always make us feel welcomed. Parking: Lots of parking and is very accessible.
Spacious seating area. Peking duck had crispy skin and juicy meat but the wrap could be more tender. Lots of parking nearby. Will go back and try more dishes!
It is out of courtesy that I have rated this establishment with 2 stars, for their reasonable dim sum. But today during lunch the behaviour of the staff was atrocious. My sister asked for extra hot sauce and the server was, to put it mildly, very rude. This is supposed to be a restaurant, a place of service. Yet the server behaved as if we would consume the hot sauce supplies of the restaurant. Even if we have eaten more than normal, just approach us with courtesy and state that we will be charged for a bottle of hot sauce and place the bottle on the table. We are not asking for a handout, we are paying for our food. And we can surely pay for a bottle of hot sauce. If they are going to continue with this attitude, I think they are in the wrong business. If you do not have the fortitude between your legs to provide for your customers, then you should quit.
