East Side Mario's - Orleans

Loved dining here!!! Mike was great. Excellent service. I got the Italian Wedding soup unlimited, had two bowls and seafood mussels, shrimp, scallops linguine pasta but asked for Alfredo instead because I really don’t like tomato sauce. I was pleasantly surprised I was allowed to swap the sauce type!! We will definitely be back next time we are craving pasta! Their pop is unlimited refills too. After everything it came to about $35 a person and we left feeling very full and satisfied.

We actually really enjoy east sides as a decent value sit down restaurant. Warm endless bread is always a plus. I enjoy the great canadian pizza with mushrooms. It's not the best pizza but it does the trick . We tried the new grill chicken sandwich and were actually surprised. It was amazing. The reason I'm giving a 4 star is because the restaurant was so understaffed. The servers were working hard to accommodate.

Food was not bad, but service was disappointing. Five people were seated at a small four people table, serving four knives, missing napkins and forks, missing food, and brought a wrong dish etc.

Upon our arrival the hostess didn't acknowledge us and had his back turned to us while he was on the phone. He put the phone on hold, left the front desk and upon returning he still didn't acknowledge us until he was done his conversation. The food was ok but service was terrible. The server was inattentive and wasn't very personable. He didn't introduce himself or engage in any kind of conversation. On previous visits we've had our bread and salad regularly topped up, we had to ask for more bread and salad. We only got our bread at the end of our meal, which we didn't even get to eat with our meal. When we got the salad it came with no tongs to serve it, both times. My wife had two hairs in her chicken Tetrazzini, it was replaced however, we would have liked a discount as I ate my entire meal before she got hers. My son, who is under 2, did not get the desert that came with his meal and we were never offered it. The waiter came to the table once to ask how things were and any other time we needed him we had to go get him. We've had amazing experiences in the past however, this visit was very disappointing. Additionally, empty plates were left on our table the entire time. At one point we had to ask him to clear some of the dishes as we were running out of room. When asked, the server seemed bothered by the income inconvenience. Please see pictures below as an example. Our servers name was Seth we're assuming, as he never told us, but that's what it said in the receipt.

Food was alright.. server was excellent! Flatbread was my favorite part of the meal!

During my recent dining experience at this restaurant, I encountered an unfortunate lack of staffing that impeded the staff's ability to tend to all patrons simultaneously. Despite this setback, I must commend the entire team for their perseverance, with a special mention to SIANNA, a recent hire tasked with hosting duties, who demonstrated exceptional multitasking abilities by managing clients, cleaning tables, and organizing a waiting list with a positive attitude, even when dealing with disgruntled guests. Our server, MIKE, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, but was limited in his abilities once our order was placed in the kitchen. Regrettably, after waiting for approximately 50 minutes excluding the previous 60 minutes waiting for a table, our main dishes arrived before our appetizers. While the quality of the food was acceptable, the experience as a whole was suboptimal. Despite appearing fatigued, the staff exhibited remarkable professionalism, maintaining a cheerful demeanor throughout the evening. In conclusion, while the restaurant is a satisfactory option for families, management would benefit from reviewing their staffing arrangements and ensuring adequate coverage during busier periods, such as Valentine's Day.

Went on Thursday with my wife and daughter and had a great experience. Food was excellent and our server Mike red hair was amazing. He definitely has the right stuff to be in customer service. He was very pleasant, funny and attentive, which added to how satisfied we were with our visit. Will definitely be back

Great spot for families. I always get a little stressed bringing a high energy toddler to a restaurant. The staff is super accommodating and the restaurant is filled with families. They have a great kid's food program called, "mini Mario's" which includes 5 free kid's meals. After that, kid's meals are 2.99 with the purchase of an adult meal. Highly recommend for people with children

We were there this week and I have to say! Mike the red head was an amazing server! We love the food at eastside and celebrate maybe great life family memories there! It is always the best. Mike! You are so kind and funny. He took the time and always made sure we had everything we needed! The best place to dine!
