East Side Mario's

Rose was very nice and helpful and the food was great as usual...some restaurants are not serving salads due to a lettuce shortage but at least Marios gave some though smaller portion than it used to be no wastage is good but still all you can eat. The chicken Milano was delish and the salad trés fresh and the penne pasta was smashing. Eastside never fails us for a good meal. The real vanilla ice cream is smoothly scrumptious !

I enjoy coming to this location - Ive never had more then mozzarella sticks and a stiff drink but the service is stellar. Whenever the boys and I do it up its a great starting point - just good energy, comfortable. I promise we will start trying more !

We had an amazing first experience at Mario's. Sunny was extremely pleasant and helpful, he's the best I can't wait to dine again. I'll definitely recommend Mario's to my friends. If I cud give a 10 rating i would. The food was decadent and the service was magnifico!Food: 5/5

My family and I dined at the upper James location last night. Service was amazing!! From the hostess, to the server and food was amazing! General manager was going around to all the tables and doing checks on service, making sure everyone was happy. This is a gesture of the past at many restaurants these days, it was very refreshing to see! Calamari was hands down the best calamari we’ve had in a long while. Extremely tender and perfectly cooked! Great team at this location.. very well run!

My fiancé and I had an amazing server this evening, her name was Jenn, she was so friendly, prompt and attentive. We had an incredible dining experience, the food was delicious but she made our night!

We came on a very busy Saturday night and there was 8 of us, with 3 children and 1 teenager. Our server, Jamie I think, was amazing. We were kind of demanding with drink refills and what not but she was super quick and insightful. She was patient and gave great service. Our order came perfectly and in a short amount of time. Great experience overall! Kid-friendliness: Kids love it there and the waitress was great with them

It’s been a while since we have been to this location. We came for dinner this evening and our server Eason was a rockstar! Quick for all our food, drinks, everything came out right and if it hadn’t, he was quick to double check with us which was amazing. Lots of parmesan cheese without judgement… food was delicious! Got the jumbo shrimp Alfredo for the first time and was not disappointed! Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menus, cool drinks and crayons with an activity sheet. Good options for both the chicken finger and fry kind of child but also healthier choices with broccoli Parking: Lots of spots, no issues

We decided to go to this location for dinner this past weekend. We had to wait about 15 minutes which was nice, since it seemed to get super busy after we arrived. We were seated and ordered our meals-- I wanted to order the soup and salad-- and was told that the price increases for Dinner-- from the lunch menu to 16.99 I believe it was, so the waitress had suggested that I order a pasta that includes the soup and salad-- so I did that. I ordered a soup to start-- Italian wedding-- note, they have changed their soup provider-- this was not as good as it used to be. Then after that I ordered a Cesar salad which was basically what I came to east sides for-- soup and salad due to my dietary preferences. Just AFTER I ordered my salad, my daughter was unfortunately sick to her stomach and we had to take everything to go. As my husband was bringing my daughter out to the car, I stayed to pack everything up and pay the bill. I requested my salad to go the salad that I had already ordered.... the waitress said that she spoke with the manager and they were unable to give me the salad to go -- THIS IS WHAT I CAME FOR.... I wouldn't have ordered the pasta meal if I knew I wouldn't have been able to get what I had intended on ordering when I got there. You would assume that this was extenuating circumstances-- it was not our intention to leave, but we were not going to stay with a 4 year old who was just sick to her stomach. Whoever hired that "manager" should look at their decision and competence in their higher management- this was a simple fix and now we will not be returning customers to East Sides- sad because we have always had great experiences here. Side note, the meatballs on the pasta my husband ordered were VERY dry on the top-- like they were sitting under the heat lamp for way too long.... One more note, thank you so much to the one waitress who was not even our waitress for the evening to take the time to talk to my daughter after she was sick. To ask her if she was ok and to help clean her up. That was super thoughtful and kind-- huge KUDOS to you! Thanks again for the memorable meal East Sides.

Went to E S M tonight and we had the best waitress ever. We've been to this location dozens of times but this time Meghan M was truly a delight to have serve us. Bubbly and Friendly with the best smile ever. Constantly asking if we needed anything but at the same time giving us space to enjoy a friends special birthday dinner. We HOPE we can get her to take care of us next time. Russ , Judy, Ray and Brenda Parking: Parking and street business sucks... hate upper james. Wish i could take this location and people and move it
