East Side Mario's - Cambridge

Is it the best Italian food ever? No, but I wasn’t expecting it to be as it’s, well, a chain restaurant without Nonna in the kitchen….but it was darned good! The Caesar salad was much better than the tossed, with tons of bacon, the bread was warm, fresh and delicious. The chicken parmigiana was really moist considering the crust looked a little well done but it was delicious. I ordered my side as pasta Alfredo. It was a wee watery but very good. My companion ordered theirs with meat sauce- excellent. Server was great, even though they were slammed on a Saturday night. We had to wait 30 minutes before we were seated as they were so swamped but was definitely worth the wait!

Service was really good and fast despite being very busy. Food was good and prices are decent. Our server, Marsha, was very awesome. She was really funny. Had us laughing all night until we left. She was an amazing server. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere and server was really great with our kids.

Service was excellent. Food was good as usual. The person serving us split the pasta dish we ordered into two plates proactively which was great. The drinks we ordered were pretty good as well.

You know its bad when the waitress who adds cheese to your meal comments on how small the portion they give you is. I let the waitress know it was completely cold, and couldn't eat more than half before it was ice cold but no discount was even applied. $28 for a small cold pasta. Not worth the money sadly.

Awful wait time for food around 45 minutes. Food was cold. Waitress was extremely nice about the situation. Appetizers were delicious and hot mozza stick and deep fried dough tossed in parm

I was skeptical about coming to an east side’s again because I’ve been to so many east’s side before in the past and experienced horrible customer service almost every time. The only reason why I kept going back was for the all you can eat bread and salad. After quite some time, I decided to go back again last night and it was great! Food came out really fast, our server Erica I believe was her name was very friendly! She always came back to check on us to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. Food was super hot, fresh, and delicious!!! Love the linguine chicken amatriciana I get it every time and my boyfriend had the scallop carbonara. We were both very pleased.

1st visit to East side mario’s Hespler location and had a great time there. Really love their garden salad and pizza and of course free breads with butter

Absolutely amazing experience. Our server was in her first week alone and did a fantastic job! There was a wait for the meals. However, they came out hot and worth the wait. Only had to wait about 5 mins to be seated on a very busy Saturday night when asked if we could wait for a booth they graciously accommodated. Any server walking by was smiling and happy. Would definitely recommend this location!

Ordered gluten free pasta, it came out as regular pasta. I am fortunate that I know the difference or I could have been super ill. The female supervisor that brought out my food took it back to have it prepped properly and was sure to tell the waitress that the order was wrong. The waitress apologized and was so kind and took accountability. Her supervisor could learn a lesson from her. After I watched my family eat their hot meals, and after 20 minutes, female supervisor brought out my revised meal. Still incorrect, not broiled with extra cheese as ordered. When I asked if it could be corrected, she looked at me and asked if I wanted it broiled with extra cheese. How odd. Yes, of course I do, I ordered it that way and just asked you for this. She then said she could ask the kitchen to do it. I alsi asked her to package it to go when ita ready as my family finised eating. She said no problem and she'll take it off my bill. Great. She brought it back out 10 m8nutes later. NOT BROILED. Seriously!!! I looked at it, looked at her and asked if it was broiled as ot was obvious by the raw onions still sitting on top and no broil marks that it wasn't and she fumbled on her words and said "Um, yea...yea...they put it under the um thing...we both looked at it again and she knew. No offer to fix again. It absolutely wasn't broiled...so why lie? She was done trying to make this right and maybe figured since she took it off the bill that it didn't matter anymore. I ordered this regularly at the other locations and it comes out woth a nice, brown colour on top, and it cooks the onions. I am so disappointed with the Cambridge location. For the first time in a long time I decided to take my family to East side Mario’s, after being seated we were immediately greeted my the most friendly women. Meghan T was absolutely outstanding!! I cannot stress enough the difference it makes in your dining experience when you have such a positive, polite and friendly waitress. Because of her I will absolutely make this my new spot!
