I love Earl’s and have had so many great experiences there various locations. So when I was craving pizza I ordered their Margarita pizza to go. Huge disappointment this time. I got an anemic looking cheese pizza no tomato or basil that was burnt and tasted like cardboard. Sad.
What I love about this place is the location and view especially if you get a table by the window. The food is very good, but I was hoping for more variety. Be careful what you order when it comes to salt as my salmon was extremely salt and I had to remove all the topping. The service is excellent.
Banff town is the biggest town inside the national park. Here you'll find no shortage of things to do or places to eat. Earl's is know for traditional bar food as well as excellent clam chowder. Why is there great clam chowder hours by plane away from the ocean? I don't know. But it really is good.
It's interesting to see how each franchise is run. This location has seen better days. Like others that cater to a bar scene it is run down. When it comes to the food the plating spec is not the same throughout the chains.
Great food, service and view of the mountains. Visiting from Ontario during Christmas of 2019 and dusk sky the sunset with the mountains in the foreground. 5/5 for sure.
