a month ago I was at Eagle ridge because I felt like I had to pee really badly even though I didn't need to.nnIll start off with the bad stuff. Check in nurse was kind of rude. But the other check in nurse was very nice and was a cool guy giving me pain killers.nI waited over 9 hours check in to check out. Can you imagine waiting 9 hours feeling like you have to pee, but you don't need to and can't? Looking at other reviews, some other people have had it much much worse...nnThe triage nurse that scanned my bladder was very, very nice. I appreciated her help, and kind of felt bad for her as she seemed like she was really under stress and had to move fast.nnThe doctor I got Dr Dan was very nice and friendly. Although he also looked like he was under stress, he was friendly non the less. However, I did not receive any treatment and just a diagnosis nothing was wrongnnThe reason why I'm still giving 2 stars is because it is completely unacceptable to make patients wait in agony for hours upon end. It makes you feel absolutely hopeless.nnFor anyone living in PoCo or Coquitlam, I highly advise you go to Royal Columbian or Maple Meadows hospital instead.nnOverall, 2 stars. But just for the staff alone, its a 3-4 star.
We had great communication from the girls at the front desk, but we waited 3 hours for the doctor to tell us there was nothing they could do, which I don’t blame him for the situation but my mother had a cut and she wouldn’t stop bleeding and they took wait too long to do the bandages, I saw nurses talking and there was one specific nurse who was rlly rude white short hair when I told her my mom needed someone to help with the bleeding and she said she was just gonna have to wait. That much bleeding should’ve definitely been prioritized more, not saying it’s more important than others but the communication skills absolutely sucks and they need to deal with it better! DO BETTER
Eagle Ridge Hospital!!nnI saw three doctors last week for a HUGE, growing & painful lump in my breast. I was told to wait for an ultrasound referral in FEBRUARY!! Wednesday morning i woke up to the lump being the size of a tennis ball and growing! I went to Eagle Ridge ER and was seen rather quickly. I arrived at 12pm and was heading home by 445pm with an ultrasound and dissection scheduled for TODAY Nov 27. They took everything very seriously, were humorous, kind and courteous! Every doctor, nurse, and staff member have been extremely helpful and urgent in getting me help. They went above and beyond in testing and getting my procedure scheduled ASAP! After being dismissed by my GP and being told to wait till February for an ultrasound they took my condition seriously and made me feel heard. I haven’t always had great experiences here but i’m so thankful I have this time. Thank you!
The Eagle Ridge Hospital gave us an absolutely terrible experience. My son injured his foot, he was bleeding, and we were terrified. But even in that condition, the staff made us wait for more than five hours. The whole situation felt completely unacceptable. The service was unorganized, slow, and honestly just a mess.nnI was shocked at how careless everything felt. When someone is bleeding and in pain, they should be treated immediately, not left sitting there for hours. It was extremely frustrating and honestly made me feel like no one there really cared about the patients.nnThis hospital seriously needs to fix its service, because right now it’s one of the worst places in town. It was a stressful, disappointing, and frankly crappy experience that no family should have to go through.
I had surgery on the early morning of October 8, 2025. Everyone I encountered was genuinely caring and professional. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the nurse not sure if I can mention his name who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. My meals were delicious, and he even brought extra portions to satisfy my insatiable appetite. I felt like I was in a five-star hotel. The only thing I wish was that I could have stayed an extra day. I wasn’t ready to go home and take care of myself. Thank you all!
