This bookstore is a very surprising place for me because I've never been here before until recently. The books look classic, ancient and unique. I was so intrigued with the books here. The place was surprisingly cozy as well. It is just that I got used to a wide selection of books from other stores, I had a short book shopping trip here. But it was great finding rare books with unique designs.
They have some very rare books here that were so exciting to see. I appreciated the knowledge they were willing to share. Being a Lit major and a book fanatic, this was one of my favorite stops in downtown Vancouver.
Steph and Richard were amazing. They talked about their knowledge of coool books and the amazing history surrounding all of them. Would recommend this spot if you’re into history and a good conversation!!
I have never been to a book store quite like this. Not just because of the content but also the people who keep this place afloat. So friendly and warm. Loved visiting here
This place is fantastic! The books were splendid of course, but more importantly the owners were so knowledgeable about the history and significance of each piece. As a tourist, visiting this store was a better experience than going to the Vancouver Art Gallery. I highly recommend checking out this extraordinary rare and cool local business!
A great book store with a great selection of books, some rare, and some not so rare. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and welcoming. We bought a book and had a great conversation about the history of some of the rare books that they have showcased. Will definitely be back again soon.
Book lovers dream. Richard was particularly amazing, he shared his knowledge and passion of rare books and collections with us in a kind and open manner. They have some truly special pieces, and seeing the workshop was a very cool component. Highly recommend popping in!
Incredible spot! It's like a museum! So many interesting and rare books. Richard is a master of his art and it's really neat to see in person.
Stumbled upon this location thinking it was a bookstore, however I could not find it as there is no sign. For good reason. People who NEED what this place has to offer, WILL find it anyhow. Was greeted by a british lad who was kind enough to explain the nuances of what he did to a novice like me.
A rare treat! Richard is a craftsman and dedicated. A must place to visit.
