Duty Free Americas - Pembina

I drive an 18 wheeler. Staff inside the store and the van is extremely nice every single time I visited but this time when I went to pick up my stuff from the van that old night guy was extremely rude saying that I am supposed to be in the pickup lane to pick up. He made me back up my truck. I understand it’s my fault that I wasn’t in the right lane but the time was 5 am and only the car lanes were open that time. There is always a professional way of dealing with something but this guy just wasn’t cooperative at all. I was way confortable with parking my truck on the side rather than entering a lane which I wasn’t sure I could drive off or not. Hope this reaches to the appropriate person who could take some action about this.

Very friendly clerk at the Duty Free shop. Provided information and advice on products. Smaller selection of liquor than expected, but pricing was very good. Also carry a selection of tobacco products, perfumes, and chocolates. The Duty Free shop is attached to a gas station, making this a one-stop-shop for travellers.

Good selection of products, the cashier I had seemed irritated at the amount of people there but it was a Saturday and multiple bus trips were heading to Minneapolis for the NFL game so it should be expected that it's going to be busy for preorders.

last time I was here the lady would not let me purchase anything bc I wasn't going into Canada. I've been there many many times and bought items she told me the store is only for people traveling into Canada. I asked her when that changed she said it's always been that way I said then how have I bought soo many items in this store she had n9 answer for me and we just left. she was extremely rude

Good place to stop by to pick up some drinks before crossing the border.

Good price compared to actual market. With VIP card you will get 10 percentage discount on top of that. Guy who works at night is very friendly

Last pit stop before returning/arriving to Canada . Has a wide selection of alcohol, perfumes and Chocolates.

Got fuel and used the washroom before heading back to Canada. Washroom was clean. Clerk was friendly.

Good prices for most items, especially alcohol.

I had forgotten just how much merchandise they stock at Duty Free America's and Pembina, ND was no fmdifferent! Being raised in Manitoba, getting married here and having children here, we used to go down to Minot or Grand Forks for a few weekends a year! The staff is very pleasant,courteous and helpful. When we get home to Alberta and go to Idaho this year, we will make a point of stopping before returning home!
