Food was delicious. Dining room was clean. Bread looked to be fresh baked. Fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. My son had grilled cheese he said was best ever. Fries were just right. Prices are very reasonable. For three of us it was under $30. We will stop again when in the area.
Restaurant was very busy. We waited 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order and gave us menus. We got the wrong appetizer, which was okay ordered fried mushrooms and got cauliflower, we liked the mistake one also. We did not complain. Husband and grandson's order came out perfect. My burger was undercooked red inside. We told our waitress, she took my plate back to correct the issue, after watching the rest of the table just about finish their meals, the burger came back great... with cold fries. Normally, this does not bother me, although I am on a strict diet and this was my cheat meal for the week... so it was very disappointing for me.
Staff is very friendly. They have a very large menu with a lot of Homestyle cooked meals. Our waitress told us their specialty and most popular items are there Italian dishes. Portions were large and I would definitely return.
Went with my family visiting from out of town. When I walked in the waitress gave me a nasty look. The waitress who never said her name seemed bother to have to even come to our table. My brother is special needs so he makes some noises. There was a wait on the food which is understandable with beng understaffed. We had waited a while for a check that she never brought so we had to get it ourselves. Overall wouldn't come here again. Very unwelcome environment
Absolutely Delicious! First visit to the Dutch Oven but it won’t be our last! Everything was perfect! Roast beef dinner with home made fresh hot bread! Gravy was definitely the best besides my mom’s! husband had the Lasagna and it was delicious as well! The coconut cream pie was so tasty-flakey crust and perfect coconut cream filling. The salads also were very nice-perfect size and delicious dressings! We can’t wait to come back and bring the whole family! Great restaurant and worth every penny! Mary Lynn, our waitress was so helpful and such a sweet person. Thank you for a nice dining experience!
My Dad and I stopped for lunch and had the ham and turkey sub with a side of chili. The bread for the subs was homemade and was one of the best I'd had in a long time. The chili was delicious as well. Not much spice but we were OK with that as we don't like spicy things. The service was not as fast as some places but we weren't in a hurry and were really happy overall. Not too many restaurants you go to have homemade food on the menu anymore.
Likely the best Fish sandwich I’ve ever had. Bread is amazing and fries were to die for. I’ll definitely come back to try other things. I’m a pretty harsh critic when it comes to restaurants and this place passes with flying colors.
Food was good, though they didn't check how meat preference is, I didn't think about it until I bit into a red burger. But I ate it, so cant complain too much. It was good. Fries are amazing. Servers aren't too attentive, didn't get a refill or asked for drinks and had to go get my check. I would come back.
Very nice, the waitress was very attentive, the food was delicious. I had the Swiss cheese, mushroom burger. It was so good. I also ordered the French Onion soup, anywhere I go and they have French Onion soup, I order it. Their French Onion soup was the best I have ever tasted. I got there after 5:00 and it steadily filled up more and more. And there were quite a few people there already. Well worth the trip to Jamestown. And you do need to take the west Jamestown Rd.
The Jamestown location apparently changed hands a few months ago. We hadn't been there for a while as we were disappointed the prior visits. This new ownership has made subtle changes, all improvements. Our food was very good, service could have been better. For example, had to request drink refills repeatedly when we found someone. However, I'd definitely try again for a local casual meal.
