Dupuis Restaurant

The food was very good. Ambiance was a little dark for my liking & seating in the booths were hardwood that got rather uncomfortable over the course of an hour or so it took from start to finish, excluding dessert since the dinner got us pretty full. They bring out a tray of 4-5 dessert options & they did look pretty good, so might be worth saving room for it if you can. The place had live entertainment on the Saturday night we were there; an older guy at the piano , singing/playing songs mostly from 70's & 80's, but did a decent job if that's what you like. External appearance is deceiving, as it doesn’t look great as you drive by or pull in, but it's nicer on the inside & would definitely recommend just based on food quality if nothing else.

The owner took incredible care of us tonight. The food was incredible - maybe a little too rich, even - but the ambiance was wonderful. It was so charming and quaint. The crab cakes were amazing, gold star.

I thought this restaurant was delightful. The crab cakes and oyster stew were as good as the reviewers said. I’d definitely plan future trips around eating here; it’s that good. The owner is delightful and completely attentive. It was a delightful evening for us all.

Oh my gosh! We have been to Dupuis Restaurant many times over the years and they never EVER fail to please! But, TONIGHT, they went way above and beyond! The filet mignon with crab special they featured tonight was THE BOMB! Best steak I've ever had in my 54 years on this planet! And the service? Par excellence!
