Tried out Dunville's offering at the Chili cook off at SoNo Mall today. The famous beanless all beef chili was quite nice, not too spicy with a very protein forward flavor profile. Overall a great bite that made me interested in seeing the rest of their menu.
My first post-pandemic, solo trip out for a drink was to Dunville's. The bartender. Glenn made me feel welcome and mixed an excellent Manhattan. In no time at all, he and the other customers at the bar and I exchanging memories of old time Westport. The burger and fries I ordered were outstanding. The burger was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the fries were as crisp as I like them. Glenn was fun and engaging...a real improvement over the places I've been where a single woman is often treated as though invisible. If you're looking for good food and a welcoming place to have a cocktail, I can' t think of a better place than Dunville's, especially when Glen is working the bar.
Steve and his crew have been running a top notch place for over 25 years. Best causal local fare and drinks in Saugatuck !
Lived here my whole life, and this is my favorite place to bring people when they're in town. Great food, great atmosphere, and some great live music. The clams casino, clam chowder, and burgers are all to die for! Can't wait to come back when things open up.
Fun staff. Good bar food. What more could you ask for?! Try the Sunday special drink - good even on a Wednesday. A true "local". It's been around for decades - and will be here for many more to come. Remember the TV show Cheers? Yep, everyone knows your name here.
My favorite dive bar in Westport. Very small bar and larger dining area with a rustic, neighborhood vibe. Friendly bartenders pour generous drinks. There's always a game on. You'd never guess from appearances how great the food is. We go often for lunch.

Been going here for 25 years. The people are awesome, and the food is always surprisingly good. This place is casual enough for a burger with friends, but still ok for a quick bite with a colleague.
Besides the owner being one of the hardest working guys I know, along with his staff. Dunvilles is an institution. Whether it's Sunday's brunch or the best burger in town! Then this is your place....& Let's not forget about the famous clam chowda' either.
