All I can say is wow! Everything was fresh and tasty. Excellent service. The burgers were so tasty and so were the fries. Generous portions as well.
The guys at my work were raving about this place so I had to check it out. I got the Friday special burger and some fries. It was good. It tasted good and came fast. The fries were salted perfectly. I can't wait to go back and try the fried chicken poutine.
Burger was very good and the chicken sandwich was solid, though it did keep slipping out of the buns. The fries were ok - the cajun fries were overseasoned in my opinion and the regular fries needed salt but those were easy fixes. Expensive but still tastes really good.
This was my first time trying Burger Legend, and I'm pretty happy with the experience. Pictured below is the standard cheeseburger and Cajun fries. The burger was moist the the flavour was lovely, the the burger comes with sautéed onions, which are usually an extra cost at other places. The house sauce that comes on the burger might be heavy handed for some folks, but not for me. The Cajun fries were okay - some were a bit heavy with seasoning, although the flavour was excellent. Not spicy, just right. Despite the so-so seasoning, the actual texture of the fries is really wonderful - crispy and lovely on the outside and soft on the inside like a fresh cut fry should be. Unfortunately, and this part of the review is for you fellow gluten free folks: they try and charge you $1.75 to wrap your burger in lettuce. Yup. Almost two dollars...for lettuce. They call it "making it an air burger". Please consider changing this practice, us folks who can't eat the bun are getting less product than other people and you're out here trying to charge us almost 2 bucks extra...wild. I got my burger without "making it an air burger" for $1.75, and I had to go ask for utensils because I just got a messy patty in a box, no fork. Tl;dr - delicious burgers, pretty good fries, poorly thought out gluten free policy.
Well, I'm back for my 3rd visit, so they must be doing something right. That Double Mushroom melt I got the first time was hard to top, but this time I have the "All Day" burger with beef bacon + an egg 22$ all-in with fries and pop. It's the patties. They don't rush it, and they're smashed just enough to get an extra level of crispy caramelized crust, but still hefty and juicy. The flavor really comes through the topings and makes an amazing mouthful. Great job.
A perfect VFM place with delicious fast food options...the burgers are bomb and the poutine has great potions...for details check instagram @1500_calories_plus
Wanted to try out the updated legendary menu I wasn’t that impressed The burger did not have any seasoning also the The barbeque sauce on one of the burgers was kind of tangy The garlic sauce on the poutine The combination wasn’t working at all other than that the environment was great amazing music as well hopefully The other location will change my mind.
The burger was very yummy, and the fries were good, too. The fry portions were very generous. I plan to return at some point, to try the poutine, as well as the chicken. Pretty good meal, though! They do not have a gluten-free bun, and will offfer a lettuce wrap for $1.75.
Firstly; they have the best chicken tenders, chicken sandwich, chicken wrap and fried chicken in town. They’ve literally nailed it in terms of crispness, juiciness and flavor. Their menu also offers items for the entire family which is quite a win
Service was welcoming and fast. Tried the Classic with a side of onion rings. The burger was absolutely incredible. Human-sized portion, fresh and good quality ingredients, and overall great taste. The onion rings were okay, nothing extraordinary and a bit on the greasy side. Definitely hits the spot when craving a good burger.Food: 4/5
