Nice, warm and cozy booths. Good selection of beets and good food too. The server was rather clueless but very friendly. We visited this place with a large group of friends and we liked it.
Great view of city hall from the patio. Can’t beat the $6 ceasers. 4/5 stars because I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and they forgot the guacamole and mushrooms.
Great menu with good pricing. I had the potato fennel soup with small Greek salad. Fantastic just tought the portion was a little small. She had same soup and Caesar salad. Really good. Gonna comme by again to try something else on the menu as there are LOTS of great options
Nice, filling portions and cheerful staff. A real taste of British food. Locations is also pretty good. In the picture: shepherd's pie with peas, beans and Yorkshire pudding
They ran out of Yorkshire pudding and did not inform us at time of order or when the meal was brought out. It wasn't until I asked about it that the server was like "oh". They comped us one dessert to share for both of us missing Yorkshire pudding but had I known they didn't have it before ordering, definitely would've gone elsewhere since that's what I was looking forward to. Very disappointing.
Decent pub to chill with friends and co-workers A typical pub ambience and friendly environment to be in. Food could be a little over salty at times. Salads taste fresh. Great selection of Drinks.
Typical bar food. Soup is very salty, not recommend. A bit expensive compared to other pubs in the area. Service is good. TV screens are rather small. 3.5 stars. Nothing offending, nothing amazing
NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSABLE. We reservations for 6:30pm and was told by staff the restrant was accessable. NOT. The doors at the Queen Street entrance where locked and Richmond entrance has steps. She could not get in without someone walking around to the Richmond entrance and asking staff to let here in. Also the table pedestal does not allow a wheelchair to roll underneath so my friend had to sit sidways to eat. #AODAFAIL.
I visited this pub last week and was served by Nicole. Her service was so friendly and quick and she made great recommendations for our group, both food and drink. She was fairly busy bartending and serving some other tables but I was impressed with how she managed all of that. It’s very clear she does her job well so kudos to her. The food was delicious and she made great cocktails. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
I liked the waitress who served my friends and I. She was friendly and smiling. Really did her best to entertain us. BUT. We order drinks, only. We waited around 20 min for two bottle beers and blackberry fuzz cocktails which by the way had NO alcohol in them. I want to give them one more chance tho. Not very soon but the place looks appealing and comfy very 'English' as I like so maybe one day.
