Food was okay, staff were reasonable, price was typical for fish and chips. The reason I've given them a low rating is because I took my 91 year old grandfather out for lunch the day after my grandmother's funeral and I showed him the wonders of YouTube on my smart phone. I played him a song by Johnny Cash that he hadn't heard for decades and went to pay for lunch. When I got back to the table he told me that they must not like Johnny Cash here and that someone turned it off (I have no idea who). There were 2 other customers in the restaurant. I found this very rude and although everything else was fine, I can't stand rudeness in the hospitality service.

My wife and I dropped by for fish and chips as the online reviews were very good. We certainly were not disappointed! The halibut was excellent as was the coleslaw. The meal came with very fresh bread and the french fries portion was more than we could handle. The servers were very pleasant and attentive. We spoke with the owner for a while (a great guy). All in all we were very pleased.

Went in during a cold and snowy day around 4pm; it was not busy at all during this time so it was nice. Right when my boyfriend and I walk in the service and everyone was very friendly and welcoming! We ordered the Halibut special with two pieces and split it and it was sooooo delicious and fresh! The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Prices are fairly cheap and a great go-go spot. Definitely will be coming back here when I visit again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Simple but fresh and amazing food. Family run and very personable. Reasonable pricing well worth your generous gratuity;)

If you're really in to fish and chips, scallops, this is a good eating place. Good variety and very good price
