Dublin Bay Lodge

Ok, my idea of 5 stars and your idea of 5 star lodging are probably not the same. Your host for the Dublin is both a gentleman and a scholar with a great interest in the history and preservation of the area. The lodge has a particularly rustic appeal which is why we were in Northern Ontario for to begin with so we found what we were looking for. In the lake, we caught pike, a lake trout and zoodles of bass that were surprisingly acrobatic. If they were only a pound or two bigger this would be one of the premier bass fisheries in Ontario ( unfortunate though as they are introduced to the lake and for that I say - shame)
