Drycleaning By Dave

So disappointed with this store that I supported for the past 8 years. At first both slippers were only lose of fur inside, I like the way it is. After I sent to cleanfor the purpose of sensitize , both end up with unwearable. They said they are able to fix it, at least I want the sole to be not curl. I gave them chances but getting worse every time. This time even the pad inside the sole came out, totally broken as in the pic. They do not admit the fault, telling me they did not damage it, the slippers become like this due to loss of sole. What??? I did not expect my slippers look like this when I pick up after dry cleaning. Avoid this store!!!

I always get my coat dry cleaned here. The staff are always more than happy to pick up and deliver my coat. My coat is always returned within the week and looks and smells great!! Will definitely be using their services again!Service: Delivery

I had an item at the royal Oak Location before it closed down. I called about having it delivered we arranged for delivery to my house. The item was never dropped off and two phone calls and an email about the item have not been returned. Not sure if I will get my suit back now or not. *Edit. After calling a 3rd time they were able to get my suit dropped off at my house.

Very unhappy with my drycleaning. I requested my sweaters folded so the shoulders would not be stretched out. They hung them on hangers and the shoulders were stretched out. I had to take them home and steam them to get out the points! My shirt was ironed so poorly I brought it home and had to re-press it! Definitely not worth the price! I won't be going back

Brought my Ugg boots in today, to get cleaned, as I saw on their website that they did them. When I got there, the employee acted as I interrupted his day. I didn't get a "hi or hello". He told me it would be a month to a month and a half, which was fine. I asked the price, and he said $60-$80! He said I could take them to the place they take them to directly if I wanted. It was to much, so I said no thanks and left. Honestly, I would not go back, because of how rude the employee was. I took them somewhere else. If I'm leaving my hard earned clothing with a cleaning place, I would like to have a feeling of trust and be welcomed into the establishment.

Thank you so much to Dry Cleaning by Dave they are the best dry cleaning company around. My sister and I were in the Mount Royal Hotel fire in Banff and had no clean clothes because 4 fire trucks poured water on our stuff for 6 hours we were on the top floor where the fire was. Jeff and the team worked so hard to save all our clothes and make sure we had winter clothes because it was -20 degrees outside and we were trapped inside our emergency accommodation I didn’t even have a shirt. I couldn’t recommend this company enough for their care, compassion and quality. I’m amazed that all my clothes no longer smell of fire and look new considering all the water, charcoal, ash and goodness knows what else was soaked into everything. A hotel fire is a tough way to start a 2 year move to Canada but with the help you gave us everything was ok. Cheers Rob

Every time I have my cleaning done here it’s done as and when promised. I guess anyone can clean and press cloths but it’s the experience of dealing with the owners and staff that make going to Dave’s a true pleasure

Dry cleaning was ok but my pants were not properly pressed and the customer service was non-existent. As another reviewer commented I can't confirm it was about the same employee the guy in the store on 85th acted like I interrupted his day didn't even look at me or give me a hello, goodbyeo thank-you. When I walked in he didn't say a word.The only words he spoke were after I asked direct questions and tried to pry out of him what information he needed for me to drop my dry cleaning off. His answers were short and he seemed completely uninterested in my business. This made for a very confusing dry cleaning drop off and the most bizarre interaction I have ever had with someone in customer service. There are many other options in the area with similar pricing and much friendlier service.

BY FAR THE BEST DRYCLEANER IN CALGARY!! I sent a dress to Dave that I didn't even really like all that much to get a 2 year old wine stain removed. Not only did the stains get removed but now I love the dress! The way he brightened the colours and pressed the pleats made it look like a different dress! The good things I have to say about Drycleaning by Dave goes on and on! He fixed a sweater that I wrecked by accidentally washing it, repaired clothing that I had damaged and even does pick up & delivery. Thanks for the wonderful, personalized service Dave!

Similar to other reviews, the place smelled like cigarette smoke and the staff have a serious attitude. The red headed guy completed my entire transaction without looking at me or saying a word, not even a thanks. I will drive the extra km and go to Fishman's. To be fair, I was last there a year ago, and was committed to post this review after several happy visits anywhere but with Dave.
