MISSION and VISION

The Dream Centre is a Christian based non-profit organization that has been serving the Kawartha Lakes community for 14 years. Since 1997 it has been our mission to promote recovery of health, spiritual well being, independence and dignity, in co-operation with integrated care services through street level outreach and partnership communication. To continue to serve the Kawartha lakes community, without prejudices, valuing human dignity, inclusivness and respect for human rights.Strategic priorities through community partnerships such as The Calvary Pentecostal Church and congregation, C.M.H.A., Women's Resources,The Pregnancy Centre, John Howard Society, etc., fostering a level of communication and integration to strengthen and enhance client, community services and or opportunity. Envisioning a society in which alleviating hunger and supplemental Food Banks are no longer a necessity.

On the last wednesday of the month it is 50% off for seniors and the last friday of the month is 50% off for students!

Devotion is held each morning from 8:30-9:30 at the front of the Thrift Store. Please join us!

Starting April 23, 2013 until May 9,2013 we will be hosting an in store raffle for a Mother's Day basket! Tickets will be $1.00 each and you can enter as often as you like!

The Dream Centre presents The North Country Gospel Choir at the Calvary Pentecostal Church at 125 Victoria St. North, Lindsay ON on June 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. Free will offering. All proceeds to the operation of the Thrift Store and Food Bank.
