Dr. Yoon's Kimchi is absolutely delicious! It has a nice crunch to it and is tasty. You can't go wrong with the Original Baechoo Kimchi. It's not too spicy. If you want zero spice, there's the Baek Kimchi, which is also good, but I prefer the Original. There is also a Vegan Baechoo Kimchi, which I bought to try since it has no anchovy paste and I'm not a huge fan of anchovies or fish sauce. It was good, but I found it saltier than the Original. I was hoping no anchovy paste meant less salty, but I felt that wasn't the case. Fortunately, the non-vegan ones do not taste nor smell fishy. Since I'm not a vegan, I'll stick with the non-vegan ones, but it's nice to see that vegans can enjoy Dr. Yoon Kimchi as well : If you buy more than $30, local delivery within Ottawa is free otherwise it's an additional $5. Dr. Yoon delivered my kimchi herself and she was so courteous and friendly. She gave me tips on how to best enjoy the kimchi eat within 2 weeks, only use clean utensils to remove the kimchi from the original container, don't put removed leftovers back into original container to prevent bacterial contamination, and as you deplete the container push the solids down so they are always submerged in the liquid. Prices are very reasonable, $12.99-$13.99 for a large tub. They have smaller tubs too, but the large tub is a better deal ; If you like kimchi or are curious to try kimchi, I definitely recommend Dr. Yoon Kimchi :
I’ve only had kimchi in restaurants and wanted to get some for my own kitchen to mess around with. MAN did I luck out by stumbling upon Dr. Yoon’s kimchi. I don’t know much about kimchi but hers really took me to another world. It was crunchy and flavourful and everything I’d want it to be. I made some fried rice with it as soon as I got home from picking it up and it was probably the best fried rice I’ve had. I think I’ve found my go-to kimchi supplier! Unrelated to the kimchi but added to the experience, Dr. Yoon was extremely sweet during the pick-up and you can tell that she puts a lot of care and thought into what she makes
I ordered the Baek Kimchi white - no spices and it was DELICIOUS! It is full of flavour and has a nice crunch to it. So much better than imported or mass produced. Highly recommend. It's a nice way to get some probiotics.

The best kimchi ever. I've been ordering Dr Yoon's original baechoo kimchi for years and no other kimchi can compare to how good it is. The taste and texture are always spot on and keep me coming back for more. And knowing it's made locally makes it that much better I love going to pick up my kimchi and seeing Dr. Yoon, because she always remembers me and makes the whole experience that much better

My son really loved the white kimchi. He wanted to eat the whole jar. The vegan kimchi was also very tasty. We have not tasted the rest in our order as they are not yet fermented, but what we did try was fantastic.
I live near many great Korean restaurants and supermarkets and I have enjoyed adopting various Korean foods into my regular diet. Kimchi is one of those food staples in my house but I'm rather picky and I really prefer a crisp, fresher tasting Kimchi. A few days ago, I tried this brand's cubed radish Kimchi and it was hands' down the best I have ever had. It was so good, I ate the whole jar as a standalone meal.

Amazing Kimchi in Ottawa! 100% quality. It’s Not soggy. You can taste the crunch at every bite. Quite healthy as well. Good customer service. I highly recommend this product.
