Dr. Thomas E. Scarborough, MD

Dr. Scarborough saved my daughter’s life. During her allergy exam, he noticed bruises all over her body. My daughter is a college athlete, so we had attributed them to athletics, as did every other doctor; however, she had frequent upper respiratory illnesses and fatigue. I took her from doctor to doctor. They kept prescribing antibiotics. Dr. Scarborough was concerned it was leukemia and sent her straight from his office for blood work. Her allergy/asthma doctor got it right. God bless him!

First, I've never written a negative review. I've never even reviewed on Google, but I feel compelled to warn people away from this doctor. That said, I'm glad to see he has some favorable reviews. Perhaps he was having an off day when he saw me. I can hope for as much. But I doubt it. He was patronizing, condescending, and belittling. He never tested me for the things my rheumatologist recommended, instead he demeaned me by telling me my hives were in my head, recommending antidepressants. Please, please, if you have tested positive for an autoimmune problem, don't see this doctor. He will not take you seriously. He will get frustrated with you and raise his voice at you if you disagree or ask him to do the things another doctor recommends. I barely made it out of his office before I cried. Please, go to any other doctor.
