He spends the time needed with his patients in order to figure out a treatment plan that will allow the patient to get back to their daily activities as quick as possible. I have been going to Dr Hope for years to manage my back pain. He is absolutely the greatest doctor I have ever worked with. His PA, nurses and all other staff are all caring and always make you feel comfortable and important. Dr Hope has helped me keep going so I don't have to have back surgery. I recommend him to everyone I know that has pain problem that need managed.
Dr. Hope is a completely jerk!!!!! I do not believe he has any idea what he is doing. People come to him in pain thinking he will help them but he does not. I watched my 59 year old step-father cry in pain one day as he tried to get into Dr. Hope. Dr. Hope was "to busy" and told him to go to the emergency room. He is not doctor, doctors DO NOT do that. I guess the last review I read about him was right, you have to have great insurance because he is only in it for the money not to help people. I would not EVER tell any one to go to him.
I have a herniated disc in my neck and vertebrae problems in the same area. Dr. Hope has done injections to help with the pain. I think he is very knowledgeable and wants to help. I highly recommend him!
The first time I saw Dr. Hope he said, "Why did annie refer you to me"? I was shocked. The whole reason I was there was to get back on my pain meds, due to the fact that my pcp could not provide them anymore. He gave me this big speal of how hydrocodone is the #1 most addictive narcotic on the market, and he told me that taking tramadol is okay. He told me to get insurance, so I didObama Care, and the Medical Specialties of Idaho are not even in network. Dr. Hope did work with me on the pain meds, although it was not enough to control my pain; especially with the type of work I do. I had to work very hard to find a pain specialist that was in network for me, finally I did. I do believe if I was a old man with top of line insurance Dr. Hope would of prescribed me anything I wanted before any procedures, but that was not the case.
Dr Hope has done wonders for both my wife and I. I highly recommend him.
