I had my wisdom teeth removed on Monday 7/25/2022 and Kline and his team blew it out the park. I was able to get a hold of the receptionist which I believe is Jenny, she was able to calm me down before the procedure over email as well as provided me with the paperwork to complete before the procedure along with insurance days before the procedure. His team was extremely professional and very easy going and open to any questions. I only felt one poke and that was the IV as I was asleep for the procedure as I hate needles, poking, and crunching. They kept everything out of site until I was asleep then when I woke up it was nothing ever happened, everything was cleaned up and out of site as I hate seeing medical tools..especially dentistry. Kline did a great job of walking me through what to do and how to go about the procedure afterwards. Dr Kline and his team did a fantastic job and I would recommend him to anyone! Very professional, they deserve six out of five stars!
The insurance manager does not do her job nor care about patients. It is because of her that my family's dental benefits were cut for 2 years now because she would not refund an overpayment to our dental insurance. This first began in sept. 2020. Still unsolved today. When I first learned of the problem I reached out to her but she "claimed" to have sent my insurance a refund check. After months, this check was never received. She kept saying she sent it while my insurance waited and waited. It was a back n forth battle and both sides finally gave up. However i cannot give up because i need insurance benefits. After 6mos I went back to this office to ask her for proof of payment. A copy of the check was given to me but still my insurance never received this so called check. This manager claimed the check was even cashed. When I asked for evidence of the cashed check she couldn't get it for me. She Told her secretary to tell me she will send another check to my insurance just to get me off her back. Til this day it's still unsolved and we r still without dental benefits. Extremely frustrating. Her phone number and email do not work. The only way to reach her is to go into the office and speak directly to her. But she's given me excuses and lies. She's avoiding me. She doesn't follow through and doesn't care to help. Will never recommend this place to anyone. This woman has caused us many hardships and frustration for my family!
Very unprofessional staff. Impossible to get an actual appointment and when they give you a date no time even days prior. No contact from insurance department or letting you know what is covered or not. Definitely will not go here ever or recommend.
I was in for a consultation for oral surgery in preparation for dentures. I found the office staff friendly and helpful. Dr. Klein took the time needed to explain what was needed and answered my questions. He has a kind manner and put my mind at ease.
Consider yourself warned...RUN! I highly recommend you go somewhere else, not because of the surgeon who was great, but because of the horrible service and lack of communication from the office staff. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed at this office. Several weeks prior to her surgery, I received a call wanting us to verify our insurance pretty standard stuff. At this time, the office confirmed our portion of the expense. I asked for an estimate of the service be put in writing. The office manager refused and said it was my insurance company's responsibility to do that. I spoke to my insurance company prior to speaking to the office manager to confirm coverage and they said it was the office's responsibility to issue an estimate because each office/surgeon charges differently and they don't have record of all the itemized charges for each surgeon. When I explained that I'm looking for an estimate not an exact bill, the office manager still insisted that they do not put this information in writing. At this point, she was getting more and more snippy and short with me. I explained that no one, at any point, reviewed the details of the surgery with me; I was completely in the dark and I was just looking for information. She was a bit more empathetic after hearing that and she verbally went through an estimate with me but she still would not put anything in writing. Seems odd for a medical office to refuse such a simple request. It calls into question their credibility and professionalism. The day of the surgery, I went to the office and was asked to pay, in full, my portion of the surgery--over $1900. I asked about a payment plan and was told they don't have one, but they have a third party they go through that offers a payment plan this is where the woman behind the desk pointed to a bunch of brochures on the counter. She then told me, "...but you would have had to apply for that weeks ago." WHAT?!?! They could have easily mailed me this brochure or mentioned it on one of the calls, but there was never such an offer. Instead they told us we had to pay the $1900 or not get the surgery. Apparently, this office thinks that everyone has immediate access to several hundreds/thousands of dollars right at that very moment. That's absurd! We never had an in-person consultation in this office, received anything in the mail prior to surgery, or got an estimate for services from this office. After the surgery, we received a detailed copy of the services rendered; however, nowhere on the document was the name of the office, the phone number, or the surgeon's name...it was a plain white piece of paper. SUPER unprofessional, and in my opinion, pretty shady. What kind of a medical office doesn't use letterhead, provide an estimate for service in writing, or have a pre-op consult??? As I said earlier, consider yourself warned. But, I highly suggest you turn and RUN!
Like a lot of the reviews say, "DO NOT go to this office." There are numerous red flags with this office from scheduling to billing. No one literally picks up the phone after a certain time in the early afternoon, and then to get someone to call you back to answer any questions is near impossible. When we finally went there for the verbal consultation, none of the staff new what was going on. The staff right away did an X-ray prior to having the Dr. consult first and this is the "out of pocket" portion of the upfront billing that they discuss with you on the phone when they do finally call back. However, why have an X-ray if you don't need it? Nowhere will a doctors office just x-ray you without some sort of legitimate diagnosis and without being examined first. While X-ray's and CT's do cover boney anatomy proficiently, that was not the main concern here. How do you read soft tissue on an x-ray, you don't. So that was $$$ money spent for a useless exam that went straight into this office's pockets. Plus why did the office not ask to have medical x-rays sent over from the referring physician's office? Onto billing, what professional Doctors office does not run insurance before coming to an office visit to see what insurance will cover up front? This office does that. If you choose to come here make sure to check with insurance what will and won't be covered yourself before coming. I can't recommend this office based off of so many bad and questionable practices from this office. Do not be afraid to ask your referring doctor to make references else where if they have some sort of handshake "agreement'' set up with this office. Overall, if you aren't flexible with your time or money this office is not for you, look else where.
Update: after specifically verifying my address my refund was sent to the wrong address. Debating whether it was intentional based on my bad review or gross incompetence. AVOID!! Update: called again, finally spoke with someone who said she called me back yesterday but I have no record of call or a voicemail. Refund to be issued and I should receive it by the end of next week. Reasons for delays: insurance companies Reasons for calls not being returned: Covid Paid $1991 upfront for daughters surgery. After insurance paid on 6/30 my portion was $1134. I have called and left message with reception, no call back from billing. Waited two weeks, called again, had to leave another message and still no call back. After reading other reviews I have a feeling I’m going to have to go to small claims to get my refund. Disgusting business practice!
I wish I could give zero stars. I can't advise strongly enough how much people should go to a different clinic than this one. *I only worked with and had very unpleasant experiences with the office staff. I do not know Dr. Kline but I have heard good things about him - the 'professionalism' of his staff might suggest otherwise* I spoke with the receptionist to give them my insurance information for my upcoming appointment, and because I didn't answer 1 call from 2 days ago due to being at work, they automatically cancelled my long awaited appointment and gave it to someone else. They also lied and told me they called me a total of 3 or 4 times which they did not - they just called that 1 time. They were willing to schedule another appointment out for me but that wouldn't be until April. I cannot express how frustrating it is to have someone working at this place cancel your appointment for you without you yourself consenting to it or even knowing that they cancelled it until days before a long awaited surgery, and then to be told you have to wait another 3 months to be out of pain.
I was able to get in fast as there was a cancellation. I had been to another oral surgeon prior to going here and that surgeon wanted to do more X-rays because my wisdom teeth were fully grown that weren’t necessary. I contacted Patrick Klines office and they were very helpful, looked over my X-rays and reassured me it would not be a problem. The consult and surgery were both scheduled at the same time which I liked. My recovery went well also, just follow the instructions given!
This was my first surgery ever, everyone was so kind. The billing was very straightforward. The staff made me feel like I was part of a family. Dr.Anseth explained everything that was going to happen to put me at ease. I highly recommend coming here!
