Dr. Oakley Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is responsible for the Rhinoplasty training of residents at the university. He divides his practice into Cosmetic Nose Job Surgery, Reconstructive Rhinoplasty and/or Septoplasty and Revision Nose Job Surgery.

He is one of a hand full of Canadian surgeons who have limited their practice to only Rhinoplasty. Dr. Oakley Smith is well known across Canada for his Rhinoplasty expertise and is recognized as one of the busiest Rhinoplasty surgeons in Ontario.

Dr. Oakley Smith and his staff are wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful each step of the way. I had many questions, phone calls and emails regarding my procedure and no one hesitated to take time to explain in full detail to each question I had. I felt very comfortable with his practice from the beginning. He truly made me feel like a priority each time. I am extremely happy with my botox procedure and would highly recommend his practice again and again.
Dr. Oakley is an artist. His attention to detail is brilliant and he loves what he does and I love the results He also has such incredible patience, I have had a lot of problems in regards to past surgeries by other doctors and Dr. Smith was kind and talked me through everything. He is the only person I could find in Toronto to add filler to my already operated nose. He made my swoop nose into a profile that I love, and filled a dent at the top of my bridge. I FINALLY have been able to feel comfortable with my nose - Which has been a very long journey. I highly recommend him, and his sense of humour always cracks me up. Also Beena is the Receptionist - and her kindness and support was truly amazing. I had a lot of fear and anxiety and her professionalism was so wonderful to have.

I came to see Dr. Smith after 8 years of planning and researching the best rhinoplastic surgeons in Canada. I wanted to correct my nose after sustaining a brain injury in my early twenties where I had a facial trauma. I was incredibly concerned about the surgery itself, the skill of the surgeon, the tools that were used during the procedure, and the recovery trajectory. Not only did he take the time to effectively address my many questions, he worked with my doctors to ensure I had the right medications for post-op care. I was deeply reassured by his expertise, artistry, open communication, honesty, patience, detailed approach, and impressive body of work. In addition to my concerns about the surgery itself, I wanted to ensure that I didn't have any telltale signs of rhinoplasty, and believe me, there's not a single one; the results look completely natural. My nose used to be a daily reminder of my injury, but that's no longer the case. My confidence has improved in such a significant way and I have Dr. Smith to thank for that. I also received exceptional clinic communication from Beena, who is always prompt to reply and lovely to deal with. I firmly believe I made the right choice and would highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone considering their options.
I had a septoplasty done with Dr. Oakley in October 2022. I had spent many months doing research as I was nervous about the surgery and how it would look afterwards. We had also discussed the a hump that had developed as a result of injury that caused my deviated septum. He kept my expectations realistic and couldn't be happier with my decision. I did not hesitate for one second after the consultation that he is the best when it comes to your nose. Immediately after surgery I could tell a difference in my breathing! I did not have any bruising whatsoever and recovered within 2-3 days. I can breathe better and aesthetically, my nose could not be more perfect. He takes into account your profile and the trouble area he can work with at the time of consultation, setting realistic expectations. He is the only nose plastic surgeon I would ever recommend. Should I ever need a revision, this will be my guy.
I did a surgery to fix my breathing with this doctor septoplasty and said it wouldn't affect appearance but during mid surgery, he discovered he needs to take cartilage out of my ears as well and put that in my nose. That is something he never even mentioned to me was a possibility before hand and I likely would not have done the surgery had I known that. The surgery did affect my appearance negatively as my nose got bigger, bulbous and flimsy, my breathing also did not noticeably improve and I have the same problems as before. One of my ears also looks slightly odd now. During the surgery, this guy had a resident with him so I don't think that he didn't give it his 100% and just made it a learning experience for the student. A septoplasty should be a fairly simple straightforward procedure from what I am hearing, and it certainly shouldn't negatively affect appearance ESPECIALLY when being done by a guy who specializes in rhinoplasties the whole point being to improve appearance.
My case was not at all straight forward. I was a cleft patient, in need of a revision rhinoplasty. Despite these challenges, Dr. Oakley handled my situation with care and completely fixed my breathing. Incredible surgeon.
