Dr. James Vlahos DDS

I was looking for a new dentist and decided to give him a try because of his reviews. His staff are very friendly but he is a nightmare, rude and impatient. I needed to get a couple filling done in my back teeth and as he began I told him I could feel it and it was sensitive, he ignored me and continued drilling. I felt a horrible amount of pain and smacked his hand away as a reaction. I told him I wasn't frozen properly and he refused to acknowledge that and said I would have to go to a dentist in Hamilton where he would put me under to complete the filling. I decided to trust my gut and give another dentist a try before having to be put under for a filling. Went to Garden City Dental and Dr. Kevin Woon Fat is amazing! He listened and made sure I didn't feel anything. So after it was completed no it wasn't me it was you. Maybe next time he should listen. So if anyone is looking for a new dentist take my review into consideration.

A great experience , in a place I never was comfortable in. When I first started seeing Dr.Vlahos, I had a fear of dentists, having had bad experiences . He is very good at what he does, up to date in all the latest methods,and his staff is second to none. He is there when you need him and now I'm very comfortable at the dentist.

I found Dr. Vlahos and his team through reviews online. I was looking for a dentist who could catch me up on several dental issues due to years of neglect. I had arranged several consults with different Dentist offices to see which one felt like 'home' and am extremely happy with the choice of Dr. Vlahos and Co!, because of the superior care I have received. There is state of the art technology and amazing solutions to dental issues I did not even consider to be able to correct at this stage of life (yes I am pushing retirement age). There is also a personal, warm and friendly care value that seems effortless from everyone there, which makes all the diference in the world. They all clearly enjoy their work! Invisilgn system to correct crooked teeth is not the braces nightmare my kids grew up with 20 years ago! I am looking forward to straight teeth as well! I plan to move to Toronto in the summer, but the distance of one hour and a bit from Toronto, is well worth the trip for ongoing care. I believe that our Canadian dollar is not only attractive to our American neighbours for Niagara tourism, but also I would trust that dental care at that huge USD -CAD conversion would be well worth the trip over the border. I have appreciated being a patient of dr. Vlahos for many years. The office staff is cheerful, considerate and extremely helpful. The dental care is excellent in my opinion. I would use words such as..... done with gentleness, respectfulness and always striving to acheive minimal discomfort. Virginia

I am absolutely thrilled with Dr. Vlahos and his staff's professionalism and expertise! The team has done an exceptional job every time I required dental work. Recently, I had gum surgery. I felt relaxed and confident during the procedure. (I actually fell asleep). Amazingly, when the freezing wore off, I didn't feel an ounce of pain or even discomfort! I followed Dr. Vlahos' instructions to the letter and everything turned out perfectly. I highly recommend Dr. Vlahos and his team!
